Border Patrol chief blames Biden policies for migrant surge at border:
The chief of the US Border Patrol blamed President Biden’s “no consequences” immigration policy for sparking the surge of illegal immigrants crossing into the US, according to a report.
Raul Ortiz made the frank admission that the administration’s lax policies are to blame in a recorded deposition that is part of a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody.
“In my experience, we have seen increases when there are no consequences,” Ortiz said in the July deposition, which was obtained by Fox News Digital.
A Florida state attorney then asked Ortiz whether more migrants would likely make the trip to the border because of the lack of consequences.
“There is an assumption that if migrant populations are told that there is a potential that they may be released, that, yes, you can see increases,” he answered.
“So, it will increase at an exponential rate. Is that what is being suggested here?” the attorney pressed.
“Well, I do think it will increase, yeah,” Ortiz replied. --->READ MORE HERE

Migrant crisis fueled by Biden's 'no consequences' policies, Border Patrol chief says:
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz says the crisis at America's southern border is a result of, and fueled by, President Joe Biden's policies, according to a recorded disposition.
A video of Ortiz's assertions was reportedly obtained by Fox News and stems from a lawsuit filed by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Ortiz was answering questions under oath when he made the comments, Fox News reports.
Ortiz became Chief of the United States Border Patrol in August 2021, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, the agency says, adding that, before joining the agency in 1991, he served in the Army.
Ortiz "proudly leads more than 20,000 Border Patrol Agents and Professional Staff across the country as they perform the homeland security mission," the U.S. Border Patrol website says.
While answering questions during the disposition, Ortiz can be heard in the recording telling attorneys representing the Florida Attorney General's Office that he thinks migration at the southern border will only increase when there aren't any "consequences" keeping them from doing so. --->READ MORE HERE
