2016 Presidential Predictions... too early?

and John Schroeder thinks, “2016 is about so much more than the candidate.”
Source: POLITICO

John Schroeder strikes me as a wise man:
"At RCP, Paul Roderick Gregory riffs off of James Taranto and Peggy Noonan to give this administration an asterisk. But here is the problem. Unlike when sports records get an asterisk, the sport can simply move on. Roger Maris did not leave baseball in shambles. This administration is leaving the nation in shambles. The next president HAS to fix things. Any of the top 5 in the Hewitt line of candidates are capable of fixing things – presuming the nation really wants to be fixed. And that presumption is the key to everything.
Ronald Reagan’s much vaunted magic was not his – it was ours. He had a nation that desired, deeply, to crawl out of the trail of muck created by Nixon and Carter, all he had to do was get the horses pulling together. Right now, I have the feeling we are looking for a candidate that will bring a whole new team of horses with him while we act like a bunch of teams harnessed to a central point and all pulling away from that point in different directions.
We need to begin to organize ourselves to some point before any candidate will be able finish the job and get elected, let alone accomplish that which so needs to be accomplished."
 What do you think?

Should we split into our various candidate factions early for 2016? Or should we do some groundwork to make sure America is ready for a great leader when he or she comes along?

I think Schroeder has it right. And the man I believe is the fix it guy - Mitt Romney. I'm not shy about saying this. Mitt received 61 million votes - has been vetted every which way from Sunday and we know he's a killer debater. No skeletons and the election was stolen from him. Fear not, endorse him. He is the only one who has a chance. "Wish I had voted for Mitt" - Democrats will be saying. He is the only one who has the name recognition that Hillary has.

I agree with you, Anon. Makes the most sense. Not to mention I'd be beaming if Mitt Romney were the president right now; it'd be so nice to have a president who loves America and protects the Constitution.

Yes, because I know her and she is always that eloquent. Good grammar and spelling should not be as shocking to you as it seems to be. Perhaps that's a commentary on the state of the internet, or maybe it's just a reflection on the sites you frequent.

Anyone who knows anything about Romneyman knows he has been suffering from identity crisis for quite some time now. For someone who uses Romney's name as his moniker, he sure seems to have a problem supporting him as evidenced by his constant criticisms. From my perspective, this statement best describes why Romney would still be a good choice. "No skeletons and the election was stolen from him." That sums it up rather eloquently. It isn't likely that Romney would run again, but if he did, I would have no issue in supporting him. Something I cannot say right now about the current crop of so-called front-runners.
