PPP Poll: Gingrich with slight lead in MISSISSIPPI

GOP Nomination:

Newt Gingrich 33%
Mitt Romney 31%
Rick Santorum 27%
Ron Paul 7%
PPP surveyed 656 likely Republican voters in Mississippi on March 10th and 11th. The MOE is +/-3.8%.

I hope this is more than a tease on the part of Mississippians.

They are known for saying one thing and doing something else.

Romney do so well there is hard to believe.

It is interesting how different polling people get different numbers. I am distrustful of PPP, but at this point I don't know if any of them are right.

Somebody is getting underpolled, I think. I'm not saying it is Romney, it could be Gingrich.

I'm not willing to call Romney a winner in either of the two southern states until I see it on Wed. morning.

But glory be if he is! We can, perhaps, put this primary season behind us. (I think, to a point, Romney has.)
