Texas Gov. Rick Perry, at a fundraiser Wednesday in Virginia, confided what he called his “guiding principle” as governor: “Don’t spend all the money.”The full story is HERE.
Perry’s Principle could apply equally well to the business of campaigning – particularly as Perry aides readily admit they can’t compete with the fund raising power of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Perry’s closest rival for the G.O.P. presidential nomination.
Well Rick, you should have thought about this before you entered the race SO LATE!
Just today, Romney is in Arizona attending, you guessed it, a Fundraiser along with some other events.
The host committee of the fundraiser include business heavyweights:
- Former Intel Corp chairman Craig Barrett and his wife Barbara Barrett, a former U.S. ambassador.
- Homebuilder Ira Fulton
- Swift Transportation chairman and former Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes

The smart money is with Romney.
The smart money, and my money too. :)
And my money three!
Why would Perry feel he could come in so late and those with money would be waiting? A tactical era on his part.
