AIF/McLaughlin & Associates Poll: Romney trounces Perry in Florida

GOP Nomination:

Mitt Romney 27%
Rick Perry 16%
Michele Bachman 10%
Ron Paul 5%
Newt Gingrich 5%
Herman Cain 5%
Jon Huntsman 3%
Tim Pawlenty 1%
Rick Santorum 0%
Other 6%
Undecided 22%

Head-To Head:

Romney 45%
Obama 44%

Obama 44%
Perry 39%
Conducted by McLaughlin & Associates on August 8 and 9, 2011, the poll surveyed 600 randomly-selected, likely general election voters in Florida. All interviews were conducted via telephone by professional interviewers. The survey has a margin of error of +/- 4 percent and a 95 percent confidence interval. Questions regarding the Republic primary for President were posed to 223 randomly-selected likely Republican primary voters with a margin of error of +/- 6.6 percent.

That's great to see! I know polls have to be taken with a grain of salt, but it's good to see that everyone is not jumpin' on the latest flavor of the month wagon rollin' through town!

Governor Romney is calm, organized, experienced and focused. Those are the qualities we need in a leader as opposed to yelling and angry. His honorable demeanor will bring back national as well as world wide respect for our President and this country. We do not need a six gun image. We need a focused and consistent leader who is calm under pressure and firm in his message. Mitt is a gentleman.

Great news in Florida for Romney.

That state sealed the deal for McCain the last election.
