Suffolk University/WHDH Poll: Mitt Romney by 27 points in NH

Mitt Romney 35%
Rudy Giuliani 8%
Ron Paul 8%
Donald Trump 8%
Sarah Palin 7
Mike Huckabee 6

Favorable/Unfavorable:

Mitt Romney 65/22 (+43)
Sarah Palin 42/46 (-4)
Donald Trump 27/56 (-29)

Inside The Numbers:
  • Romney has strong approval ratings, with 65 percent saying they view him favorably and 22 percent saying they view him unfavorably.
  • primary voters in New Hampshire are not holding Romney's health care plan in Massachusetts against him. While 86 percent of likely primary voters said they thought President Obama’s health care plan should be repealed or modified, more than half of respondents said that Romney’s role is approving the Massachusetts health care law would not impact their vote.
The statewide survey of 400 likely Republican primary voters was conducted April 30-May 2 using live telephone interviews. It had a margin of error of 4.9 percent..

I find his strength in NH nothing short of amazing.

The fact that 86% say Obamacare should be repealed and that they are not holding Romneycare against Romney, may mean that his statess rights argument is paying off.
