Most Political pundits ONLY contribute to Global Warming. Nothing More!

A line in a Newsmax article today caught my eye and got me thinking.

The article was about the latest Suffolk University Poll that has President Obama and Mitt Romney in a dead heat for the office of the Presidency in 2012 and seemed to be a contradiction of the articles content. Here is the line:
The results are good news from Romney who received largely negative reviews for his much anticipated defense of the health care plan he proposed in 2006 while governor of Massachusetts. (emphasis mine)
Now this line may not look like much, but it reminds me of other lines as well. A line like this from Erick Erickson of Red State, who said this after Romney's Health Care Address last week in Michigan:
“Having now gone through his speech, I think we can all start referring to Romney as a ‘former’ Presidential candidate,” tweeted RedState.com blogger-in-chief Erick Erickson Thursday evening. (emphasis mine)
Now I'm not gonna bash Erickson, he was just one of many writing off Mitt Romney over the past months. Although I will say, that many people (so I'm told) are still waiting for the results to his HOT TIP the other night about a Daniels entry. No, this is about the IDEA, that 98.9% of Americans give a rat's ass about what WE (collective) political pundits/bloggers/columnists have to say about any particular candidate or issue.

What both these comments have in common, is that somehow the idea that the majority of Americans have their faces glued to a computer or tv screen waiting to hear what Erickson and others have to say and want them to think.

The POINT IS, if all these folks are so influential, MOST POLLS seem to disagree.

Obviously in the latest Suffolk University poll, those who made up the 43% who voted for Romney didn't get THE MESSAGE last week from all those pundits that Romney and his campaign were toast!

They have been writing Romney off all along.

As you can see, These pundits don't have very much influence over the average voter.

Manufacturing is making a comeback here in the U.S.! Well, at least political manufacturing. Perishable goods: what some of these guys are producing and attempting to sell.

Go Romney! said...

You all just don't see it yet. Romney is finished.

You just don't understand. The pundits are right and the polls are wrong!
