Guess Who?

Apparently, Mitch Daniels made a crack at a the Gridiron Club dinner last night about Palin. He also made a crack about Huckabee. Obama made fun of Pawlenty, Daniels, and Huntsman. There was no harm in any of the comments. This is what typically happens at the Gridiron Club dinner.

Now, let me issue an easy challenge. Which psychotic following of one of the above politicians took offense to the remarks levied against their wonderful, most awesome and fearless hero?

Answer here.

Folks, this is what it is going to be like if the most wonderful, most awesome and fearless hero gets into the race. I try to stop myself from time to time and honestly think about how devoid one's life must be to spend every waking moment defending the honor and reputation of a person that you have probably never met. It reminds me of a National Geographic video I saw one time about a reporter who went into North Korea and taped the pure extolment that the people have for their Dear Leader. Of course, Kim Jong-il has the luxury of a totalitarian state that prevents his devotees from having access to outside information. The followers of the most wonderful, most awesome and fearless hero have access to outside information. They just don't use it. That's lamestream media stuff.

When even lighthearted bantering is out of bounds, we know that the conservative movement has ceased to be about ideas and solid governance and instead has turned into a gigantic echo chamber that exists solely for the purpose of enriching the bank accounts of various demagogues.

I find this unacceptable.

Pablo. I knew the answer before clicking your 'here'. Many in the GOP have lost the ability to laugh at ourselves. Stand back, take a good look. then don't get caught giggling a bit by the worshipers of you-know-who.

Daniels was FUNNY. He was making light of the fearless (or is that feckless?) heroine from the North star (and now Arizona) state(s).

Mitch also made fun of his good friends Haley Barbour and Chris Christie. He said that his arm is in a sling because he sat between the two of them on an airplane.

Honestly, some of these folks really need to learn to take a joke.

Dang, I was really hoping that it would be Huckabee who got his undies in a wad. Oh well, he can devote a few pages to Daniels in his next book. Or maybe the young Acolyte can write a pithy article accusing Daniels of being another evil businessman.

The joke was freaking awesome, by the way.

I see London, I see France, I see Obama's underpants.

DanL, that was uncalled for and you know it. I love these kinds of dinners, it wouldn't have bothered me if he had slammed Huckabee or anyone else even more. It's just a joke. Also I'm glad to hear Daniels knows how to make a joke, he often comes off as kind of dull :)

Daniels would be a shoe in for Mayor of Munchkinland.

The Palin/C4P victim mentality is really something to behold. It's especially ironic in light of all her steel-spine, pit bull, etc., rhetoric.

The problem is that Sarah hasn't tweeted yet to let her followers know if it was funny or not and ok to laugh.

If Palin was indeed elected President, they have to have to create a new Department and Cabinet post, just to deal with all the jokes hurled at the Oval Office by nearly comedian out there.

Tiresome, but still laughable.

Pablo, if you really want to see a C4Ppite stroke out, let them read this article (aka 'spoof'). http://www.thespoof.com/news/magazine/todd_palin_expresses_concern_about_his_wife_sarah_he_says_she_told_him_she_saw_the_japanese_earthquake_from_their_front_porch_8778.htm

You people are just jealous that you don't have the same waterfront view in Alaska as Sarah.

If C4P is so stupid, lame, ridiculious, etc., why do some of you Rombot continue to harp on and on about it? You guys and gals frequent C4P way more than I ever do (which is almost never). I couldn't care less about the Gridiron Club dinner or any jokes that Daniels made or C4P for that matter.

As far as I know, Palin didn't comment on this at all but the assumption here by some is that she is behind all the "anger" at C4P. I am fairly certain that she didn't find it offensive.

ConMan & japacuda...You guys, as always, are as funny as can be. At least the two of you continue to add absolutely nothing intelligent to any conversation. I think ConMan may be going for the record. At least he said something different than something along the lines of "Way to go Bos, right on!!!"

Oh and Ms. HATER.....keep on looking like the fool that everyone knows that you are.

Actually, I do have a great view of a beautiful lake. And like Palin, my big lakeview does not have fish in it either! But it's a big, pretty lake, none the less!

Interesting comment.

First, I am not a Rombot, as I am not even sure that I will support him this time.

Second, I very rarely go to C4Palin. I do ever so often under two conditions.

1. I just feel curious to see how deranged people think.

2. Somebody has made a negative comment and I want to see how quickly it takes C4Palin to produce a hearty snarl at the attacker. That's why when I heard that Daniels made a comment about Palin, I just knew that C4Palin would be there, ready to march. And sure enough.

Look at you kid. You came back with a snappy reply and you said something different. I am proud of you. It only took you 11 hours to think of it but good job anyway.

Hey ConMan...not that it's any of your concern...but I am not AJR's idol...I am his brother. What do you think AJR stands for...Another Jersey Republican...DUH...

You should pay more attention to AJR because he has forgotten more about politics, government and history than you will ever know.

Trust me...you are in way over your head...

Pablo,

I decided to re-read your post and in the space of four paragraphs you called Palin supporters psychotic, having no life, mindless blind followers and deranged (that was in the comments section). Wow...I didn't realize that myself, JR, OJ, RWN, Bill589 and many others were all those things, but if you say so it must be true.

Well, I'm off to blindly worship the new Goddess of America but first I have to kill some kittens.

Jersey,

Don't sweat young ConMan. He is only trying to show us how witty he is. At least he didn't say this:

So according to (pick anyone),

MA shouldn't have the right to choose their own path in health care initiatives?

He doesn't like it. Now where does he live?

Then again we weren't talking about RomneyCare. I'm sure he will say that again when there is another RomneyCare post and someone dares to question the wisdom of it. Oh well!!!

Good to see you here again by the way bro!!

A(nother) J(ersey) R(epublican)

Now young ConMan will remember what it stands for.
