
On Libya:
Former president Bill Clinton, came out strongly Thursday night for the controversial military measure to help the Libyan rebels in their struggle to topple Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.The complete story is here.
“We have the planes to make an appropriate contribution to this,” the 42nd president told an influential dinner crowd attending Newsweek & The Daily Beast’s Women in the World summit at Manhattan’s Millennium Hotel. “I wouldn’t do it if they hadn’t asked,” Clinton said, referring to anti-Gaddafi rebel leaders who have publicly and repeatedly requested the no-fly zone to stop bombardment from Gaddafi’s air force. “We should do it."
On Drilling for Oil:

Now I wonder if he is reflecting his wife's views? I know he's not reflecting President Obama's.

If she thought she could get the nomination from Obams, she'd do it in a heartbeat.
I have no doubt that she will use Bill to separate herself from Obama.
Maybe Bill wants to be her VP.

I think the Clintons are keeping their options open.
I agree with larry. If Obama's popularity goes down again to the low 40's, anything is possible.
They are playing good/bad cop at the Presidents expense.
Hillary is hoping Obama does something real unpopular with the Dem base within the next year.
