Joe Scarborough: Palin's political career is Toast:

According to Scarborough, Palin basically crossed the line when she made the events of last Saturday about her rather than the tragedy of the murdered victims:

Don't worry Joe. We'll save the video.

Joe Scarborough is just engaged in mealy-mouthed posturing. He's lost much of my respect with what I've heard from him.

So for about the 10th time in the past two years, her political career is declared "over."

Whatever....

Yeah, the little Anti-Palinite that cried wolf.

I thought Sarah Palin did a pretty good job, actually, with her speech. I didn't watch it but I did read it, so I can't really opine on her delivery, but the content was good. As a critique I would say it was probably too long. I hope her political career is not over because I think Palin has some real potential. However I don't think she is ready for the presidency. At least not yet. I think she would be well served to take a slower track and gain more substance.

Joe's right. She is done.

Americans View Sarah Palin as more Sincere and Believable after Watching Speech

A new national study among 1,437 self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents revealed that Americans indicated that Sarah Palin was more sincere and believable after viewing her speech in response to the shootings in Tucson.

The study was conducted during January 13-14 by HCD Research and reported on its MediaCurves.com® website, to obtain Americans’ perceptions of Sarah Palin after viewing a video of a speech she gave in response to the shootings in Tucson.

Is that what you believe to be true, or what you hope to be true?

By the way, what's your name?

Scarborough is so lame. The little RINO sold his soul for a TV show on MSNBC. Now he can be buddies with the lunatics that infest that network. I don't know if Palin will be President or not but her career did not end because she had the nerve defended herself against murder accusations from the Democrats and the mainstream media scum.

MSNBC and CNN has had her politically dead at least ten times now. They are the ones who made the story about her and other conservatives.

The video hurt her?
The day of her video she gained over 10,000 fans on Facebook.
She reached 2.6 million fans that day.
There were about 20,000 ‘likes’ on that video.

The Left and their media are the ones hurting.

She's toast, at least for now, all she does is give her enemies more ammo..........

I think it hurt her because it did become about her. Maybe the media had a lot to do with it, but it is what it is.

I don't think last week helped her.

This episode only adds to here repertoire of bad publicity.

I tend to agree with Joe. The past week is not going to help her if she wants to win over moderates and independents. But again, she has not tried to win over moderates and independents. She could do so in the future, but the Sarah Palin brand is so toxic right now that I am not sure if she could rejuvenate her name even if she tried. I think she has been unfairly maligned this past week, but most non-political junkie independents are going to have an even more unfavorable view of her as a result of her target ad.

Who cares what this dirt bag says?

It's unfortunate, but the focus last week did turn into Palin battles the left rather than the lives of of those taken by that crazy piece of sh1t.

More like...the left battles Palin...

Most same minded people see it for what it is.

This is pretty close to "jumping the shark," in my opinion.

If the Left never mentioned Palin once after Tucson, this question or topic wouldn't even be discussed. They create this situation, then try to sink her with it. Absurd.

I thought her speech was solid and was a moment her fans could be proud of. I didn't think this would turn into the transcenent moment which turned around her political fortunes either.

Now that the week is over and the fever on this issue seems to have broken, I think it would be a major mistake if she contiues to discuss it. If her appearance on Hannity (who is annoyingly ultra-repetative and horrible at feigning indignation) Monday night turns into a re-hash/"Woe is me" stint, then she might just fulfill Scarbough's absurb dream.

Doug, Deutchbag was/is a very successful ad man turned political pundit thanks to Morning Joe...he has tried his hand at hosting his own show on MSNBC but all of his attempts led to cancellations. He's ultra-liberal with the ability to sound moderate...he repeatedly mentions his disdain for Giuliani...so that's gotta tell you something. I think he belongs to the club that liked the gritty, dirtiness of pre-Giuliani NYC...I know there are a group of hipsters who feel the same way as Deutchbag.

It's a shame that there is a group of Romney supporters, on this site, that will seize any opportunity to make Palin look bad...even if they look stupid in the process. I will never say that last week was a good week for Palin but it wasn't because of her speech.
