Military Advisory Panel: Women should be allowed in combat

Women, who make up some 14 percent of the armed forces, should finally be permitted to serve fully in front-line combat units, a military advisory panel says.
Opponents point out:
....whether they have the necessary strength and stamina. They also have said the inclusion of women in infantry and other combat units might harm unit cohesion, a similar argument to that made regarding gays. And they warn Americans won't tolerate large numbers of women coming home in body bags. Those arguments have held sway during previous attempts to lift the ban.

I'm very much opposed to women serving on the fron lines in combat.

I would be against this as well. Like it or not, we're not built for engaging in combat with males unless it is just verbal.

As a 225lb veteran of Desert Storm, I say, NO THANKS! How does a 125lb woman carry a wounded buddy to safety? And there is several other examples as well.

I would be against it. War can be very physical. Males are far superior to females in this area.
