Fox News Poll: It's the Economy Stupid!

Polling was conducted by telephone January 18-19, 2011, in the evenings. The total sample is 900 registered voters nationwide with a margin of sampling error of ±3 percentage points. Results are of registered voters, unless otherwise noted. LV = likely voters Democrats n=333, ±5; Republicans n=309, ±6; Independents n=199, ±7
If these priorities of voters hold up through 2012, I wonder which 2012er benefits the most? Also, Look which group found the economy the most important issue by the largest margin.

Great question! On the surface one would assume Mitt would benefit. However...

Romney and Job Creation. "Net result: 50th out of 50 after one year, 47th after four."

I'm sure she created more, but we know one job Sarah Palin created.

The Governorship for Sean Parnell.

Just curious...Fox doesn't seem to poll 2012 Presidential questions too often. I wonder why.

The issues play to Mitt's strong suit. No other candidate knows the economy as well. No other candidate has created as many jobs.

And with his juris doctorate from Harvard, no other candidate knows the legal environment business has to cope with as well. 2012 will be Romney's year.

But it’s not just knowing the nuances of how to fix the economy. A leader can hire people for that. It’s having the fortitude to lead the fixing. The courage to start the fight, and the tenacity to see it through.

Which candidate has already stood up to constant attacks by the Left, even with little or no support from the right, and effectively caused positive change?

Hint: Her poll numbers are often the only ones posted in red here, because she’s a woman, or lipstick, or something.

Or her stats are worse than everyone else. In business being in the red is not a good thing.

It's clear to see why Romney has the Independents to himself:

Economy and Jobs 46%
Health care 10%

It looks like they're looking for a, "Mr. Fix It"!

Romney & DeMint in 2012!
