It’s Not Going To Get Bette
As Merrie England travels on its merrie way to becoming an Islamic state, there are inevitably a few bumps in the road, a few insignificant hiccups as the last bits of resistance are mopped up and everyone is made to understand that they have to accept their new overlords without complaint. One of these embarrassing manifestations of racism, “Islamophobia” and bigotry came just last week, when residents of the quaint town of Chadderton, which is about half an hour from Manchester and an hour from Liverpool, dared to suggest that the Islamic call to prayer might be a trifle too loud. Such effrontery was thwarted swiftly in Chadderton, and will not long be tolerated anywhere.
Oldham Times reported Wednesday that “an Oldham councillor has said he has been ‘inundated with concerns from residents’ due to noise from prayer calls in Chadderton during Eid celebrations.” Not surprisingly, the councillor who would be backward-thinking enough even to raise this as a problem rather than quickly shutting down complaints is a member of the upstart Reform UK party, which campaigns on the promise to restore Britain’s former national cohesion and cultural integrity. Maybe they will, but the fundamental transformation of Britain is already well under way, and will be extremely difficult to reverse.
Oldham Times notes that “Cllr Jon Ford, who was recently elected as a Reform UK councillor to Chadderton North, shared on his Facebook page that residents had told him they had found the noise ‘disruptive and distressing’ on Wednesday (May 27) morning.” This was incredibly “Islamophobic” of them, for what they found “disruptive and distressing” were “multiple events” that “were held around the borough to mark Eid al-Adha with people congregating in public spaces to mark the occasion.”
The good people of Chadderton should have been out celebrating diversity, instead of huddling inside their homes muttering darkly about how they could barely hear themselves think over the din of the Call to Multiculturalism, that is, the Islamic Call to Prayer.
Reflecting his constituents’ inexcusable bigotry, Ford wrote: “In just two hours I have been inundated with concerns from residents—via email, text message, and in-person conversations—regarding the duration and level of noise from what I believe was the Eid call to prayer emanating from Chadderton Cemetery this morning. The strength of feeling is significant. Many residents have expressed how disruptive and distressing they found the noise, which began at 8am and continued for almost an hour, reaching far beyond the immediate area. I want to reassure residents that I have escalated these concerns as a matter of urgency to the highest levels within Oldham Council.” --->READ MORE HERE
