88 clashes in 16 hours, fierce fighting near Pokrovsk,- General Staff report:

The Ukrainian front has seen 83 combat clashes since the start of the day, with battles ongoing at 17 locations. The Pokrovsk sector remains the scene of the most intense fighting.

In the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian shelling has targeted the areas of Popivka, Volfyne, Yastrubyne, Stepok, and Kindrativka. There were reports of blasts after the enemy launched unguided air rockets near Basivka.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacks were foiled at Hlyboke, Tyche, and Vovchansk, where they are now actively using aviation.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops frustrated the enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman sector, they launched 9 attacks near Makiivka and Nevske.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces frustrated 8 attacks near Vyiimka, Pereizne, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne.

In the Kramatorsk setor, fighting is ongoing near Chasiv Yar and Vasiukivka. The enemy’s attacks near Novomarkove, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, and Ivanivske have been unsuccessful.

In the Toretsk sector, clashes are happening near Zalizne, where two attacks have been repelled. The enemy troops also had to retreat near Pivnichne and Toretsk after five airstrikes. --->READ MORE HERE

War update: invasion forces most active in Pokrovsk axis where 17 battles underway:

Since the beginning of Tuesday, the Russians have launched 83 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. At the moment, combat clashes are ongoing in 17 locations.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

"In total, by this hour, the invaders had made 83 attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Combat clashes are ongoing in 17 locations. The enemy continues to attack most actively in the Pokrovsk axis," the update reads.

In Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the settlements of Popivka, Volfyne, Yastrubyne, Stepka, and Kindrativka came under Russian fire as the invaders launch strikes from across the border.

Enemy’s unguided missiles hit the area near Kindrativka and Basivka.

Kharkiv axis: no significant changes as the invaders unsuccessfully attacked 11 times in the areas of Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Vovchansk. Also, the enemy actively employed aviation, dropping nearly a dozen KAB gliding bombs near six settlements.

Kupiansk axis: unsuccessful attempts by the Russian army to advance in the areas of Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, and Stelmakhivka. The situation is under Ukraine’s control.

Lyman axis: nine attempts by Russian invaders to improve their tactical position. Seven of these clashes continue in the areas of Makiivka and Nevske.

Siversk axis: Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks eight times near Vyimka, Pereizne, Verkhniokamyanske, and Spirne.

Kramatorsk axis: fighting continues in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Vasiukivka. Three more Russian attacks failed – the ones near Novomarkove, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, and Ivanivske.

Toretsk axis: battles continue in two locations near Zalizne, and two Russian attacks have already been repelled in the same area. "Invaders were repelled four times near Pivnichne, another enemy attack was choked near Toretsk. Today, terrorists launched as many as five airstrikes on the town, dropping nearly a dozen gliding bombs in total," the General Staff added.

Pokrovsk axis: the invaders keep up the pressure, having attacked Ukraine’s defensive lines 27 times since day-start. Currently, 12 battles are ongoing in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novo-oleksandrivka, Prohres, and Novoselivka Persha. In addition, the enemy launched a total of seven KAB bombs near Vovche, and fired NARs toward Oleksandropil and Novoselivka Persha. --->READ MORE HERE
