DC Democrats beg for help as border states bus migrants to Biden's backyard:
More than 150 buses traveling from Arizona and Texas have transported nearly 6,000 migrants to the nation’s capital over the past three months, and Democrats in Washington are complaining that they cannot accommodate the mass releases.
The operation has collectively cost both border states millions of taxpayer dollars, including $6.8 million in Texas to date. But Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who initiated the operation in mid-April, said the move is having the desired results — getting Washington politicians a little taste of how communities have been inundated under President Joe Biden.
“Governor Abbott launched Texas’s border bus mission back in April to bring President Biden’s border crisis to his backyard in Washington, D.C., and to help Texas border communities that are being overrun as the federal government dumps migrants in their towns,” Abbott spokeswoman Renae Eze said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
“Now, D.C. is experiencing just a fraction of the humanitarian crisis overwhelming our border communities and our state every single day," Eze continued. "With our nation’s capital finally feeling the pressure of President Biden’s reckless open border policies, it’s time he does his job and secures the border.” --->READ MORE HERE

Border crisis hits NYC: Adams calls on Biden as shelters overrun with migrants:
New York City’s homeless shelters are being overrun with asylum-seeking migrants as the nation’s immigration crisis continues to worsen — with nearly 3,000 arriving in recent weeks, Mayor Eric Adams warned Tuesday.
Adams called on President Biden to send “additional federal resources immediately” so the city can handle the overflow.
“If we do not get these urgently needed resources, we may struggle to provide the proper level of support our clients deserve, while also facing challenges as we serve both a rapidly growing shelter population and new clients who are seeking asylum,” Adams said in a prepared statement.
Adams said the added migrant burden included families “arriving on buses sent by the Texas and Arizona governments” but in other cases, he said, “it appears that individuals are being sent by the federal government.”
At the Bellevue men’s shelter in Manhattan, residents said they’ve seen scores of Hispanic migrants arrive at the facility since last month.
One man put the total at around 200, saying, “The shelter was offering them s–t like hygiene products.” --->READ MORE HERE

DC is only 'experiencing a fraction of the disaster created by Biden's reckless border policies': Texas Gov. Greg Abbott tears into Washington Mayor Bowser complaining that city's homeless shelters are filling up with migrants 'dumped' by his state:
Governor Greg Abbott's office claims that Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is only seeing a 'fraction of the disaster' at the southern border after she complained that her city's homeless shelters are filling up with migrants bused from Texas and Arizona.
'Border communities are overrun and overwhelmed, and Governor Abbott launched the border bus mission back in April to help provide support to these communities pleading for help where the Biden Administration is dumping migrants,' Abbott spokeswoman Renae Eze told DailyMail.com in a statement.
She added: 'With our nation's capital now experiencing a fraction of the disaster created by President Biden's reckless open border policies that our state faces every single day, maybe he'll finally do his job and secure the border.'
The response from Abbott comes after Bowser lamented Sunday of Abbott and Arizona Governor Doug Ducey sending migrants to D.C. under false pretenses that they will be transported to a third final destination afterwards.
'Well, this is a very significant issue,' Bowser told CBS News program Face the Nation on Sunday morning. 'We have for sure called on the federal government to work across state lines to prevent people from really being tricked into getting on buses.' --->READ MORE HERE
