Biden's DHS: Department of Homeland Surrender; Chuck Schumer: Biden’s DHS Chief Will Help Pass Amnesty for ILLEGALS, and related stories

Biden's DHS: Department of Homeland Surrender:
Alejandro Mayorkas, architect of DACA, picked by Biden to head DHS
On May 5, 2005 the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Claims conducted a hearing on the topic, New ''Dual Missions'' Of The Immigration Enforcement Agencies.
I was one of the four witnesses who testified at that hearing.
One paragraph in particular from Chairman Hostettler’s statement at that hearing back then, is of particular significance today, as we consider what will happen if Joe Biden is sworn in as President of the United States:
The 9/11 terrorists all came to the United States without weapons or contraband—Added customs enforcement would not have stopped 9/11 from happening. What might have foiled al Qaeda's plan was additional immigration focus, vetting and enforcement. And so what is needed is recognition that, one, immigration is a very important national security issue that cannot take a back seat to customs or agriculture. Two, immigration is a very complex issue, and immigration enforcement agencies need experts in immigration enforcement. And three, the leadership of our immigration agencies should be shielded from political pressures to act in a way which could compromise the Nation's security.
Now we come to Biden’s choice for the vital position of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas. Remember Biden has pledged to create a massive legalization program for unknown millions of illegal aliens. The DHS enforces and administers America’s immigration laws and thus would bear the responsibility for administering this ill-conceived program.--->READ MORE HERE

Chuck Schumer: Biden’s DHS Chief Will Help Pass Amnesty for Illegal Aliens:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) says Democrat Joe Biden’s pick to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will help Senate Democrats pass an amnesty for the majority of the illegal alien population living in the United States.
During an online summit with the American Business Immigration Coalition, a pro-mass immigration group of corporate interests and donors, Schumer suggested he had spoken to Biden’s DHS Secretary nominee, Alejandro Mayorka, and that the two had agreed to help pass an amnesty for the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens in the U.S.
“The big picture is this: We need to pass comprehensive immigration reform, once and for all,” Schumer said. “It is one of my top goals, it is one of my dreams. I’ve always believed that immigration is an area where the Senate can find bipartisan ground … we have broad-based support.”
“[Mayorkas] said, ‘We’re going to do it together,'” Schumer said of his conversation with Mayorkas.
House Democrats are currently drafting an amnesty plan that is expected to allow the majority of illegal aliens to eventually apply for American citizenship. Senate Republicans such as John Cornyn (R-TX) and Susan Collins (R-ME) have said they are planning to support an amnesty for illegal aliens enrolled and eligible in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). --->READ MORE HERE
