As the Senate reviews House Republicans plan to overhaul Obamacare, a handful of conservative senators are pushing for some steep cuts to the federally-backed health insurance program Medicaid.
GOP senators, led by Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, are seeking an immediate roll back of the federal money granted to the Obamacare Medicaid expansion program, The Wall Street Journal reports. Their rationale is that serious cuts to the program’s funding would force states to make prudent decisions regarding how they choose to spend Medicare funds.
The Affordable Care Act funneled hundreds of billions of dollars to states that chose to expand Medicaid. The program brought millions of Americans into the health insurance marketplace, and any funding cuts to that program will lead to some losses in the number of Americans with health insurance.
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected in March that 24 million Americans would lose health insurance if Congress passed the American Health Care Act (AHCA), with a large portion of the loss stemming from Medicaid consumers. The CBO estimated that the AHCA would cut $839 billion from Medicaid over the next decade.Read the rest of the story HERE.

How could our government just up and serously reduce medicade? It would leave countless millions of seniors without medical care. Especially those living off of Social Security which is a "BARELY GET BY" Monthly allowance - because our government has stolen massive amounts of SS money for other pet projects. And that money was not theirs to take. It is our money, that we paid into the system to be used for OUR RETIREMENT ONLY. And yet seniors who have paid into the system their entire lives find that what they get back is but a pittance of what it should be.
Isn't it funny how our Government can give away billions - maybe even trillions of dollars - confiscated from our hard earned pay checks - to give to several generations of families who have never worked a day in their lives. They call it welfare (or giving it to illegal aliens and Muslim Invaders who they call "REFUGEES" AND NOW - they want to take away critical medical care for countless seniors at the very moment in life where they need it most. Isn't that like something you might call a "DEATH SENTENCE"?
Start rounding up illegal aliens and Muslim Terrorists and send them home - and give American Seniors Their Money Back!
