Military Poll: Johnson TIED With Trump

A new poll conducted by Military Times and Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families revealed a shocking number: American military personnel are almost exactly divided between two presidential candidates – and one of them isn’t Hillary Clinton.
The poll found that Republican nominee Donald Trump and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson share over 74% of the vote; Trump received 37.6% while Johnson got 36.5%. Clinton trailed badly at 16.3%, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein amassed a paltry 1.2%. 5% of respondents said they would not vote at all.
According to Military Times, the poll was the first scientific breakdown of voting preferences among service members; over 2,200 responses were surveyed.
Interestingly, the higher up the chain of command, the less Trump was liked; among the military's officer corps, Johnson received 38.6% of the vote, and surprisingly, Clinton polled ahead of Trump, garnering almost 28% of the vote to Trump’s 26%.
