The 31 Times Trump Has Said Something That Could Have Sunk Another Candidate

In his 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump has rewritten the rules of American politics. In particular, he has regularly stirred controversies and been at the center of incidents, including the battery charge filed against his campaign manager this week, that might have caused serious problems or even spelled doom for another candidate in another election cycle.
Yet he has ridden through them all and remained atop the GOP field. He is bolstered by an anti-establishment climate and supporters who aren’t dissuaded by — and in fact may be heartened by — his deviations from traditional manners and behavior.
Here are 30 31 episodes in which Mr. Trump has upended the rules of presidential politics:

People realize Trump is not a professional, over filtered politician. Sometimes that will burn him but hopefully, a generous and wise people understand the difference between him and a typically fake politician.
