Huckabee spoke at the annual meeting of the Republican National Committee. In remarks about women voters, he said Democrats tell women they are helpless without “Uncle Sugar” coming in and providing them with birth control because they cannot control their libido:

When I first briefly saw the comments, I thought good for him. But then I read again, and realized he went too far. Waaay too far. War FOR women is great. Should have left it at that.
