Is a Gender Bender Day coming to a school near you?

Students at Tippecanoe School have participated in several different theme days during School Spirit Week, but Friday, May 23rd’s theme of Gender Bender Day caused some controversy.
Members of the Student Council decided on day’s theme. It called for boys to dress like girls and girls to dress like boys.
“I was speechless actually, and I asked a few of the neighbors because I thought I was overreacting, stuff like that, and everybody was speechless,” said one mother, who asked not to be identified.
The mother says she has no problem with teenagers having a fun day of dressing like the opposite sex, but her son is only seven and the theme confused him. She, as well as a few other parents, chose to keep their kids home on Friday.

And the moral of the story is..It's OK to bend a little gender here and there? How about Learn the U.S. Constitution Day or Learn U.S. Presidents' Day..So when you're asked a question about either, you don't answer like the majority of Americans, 'I Dunno'.

I AM SICK OF THIS LIBERAL GENDER BENDING BULLSHIT. WE NEED TO SEND THESE PEOPLE TO THE MIDDLE EAST AND JUST DUMP THEM THERE.

Anon,

But, but, but they might not SURVIVE living in the middle east....(sarc) Maybe then they would realize that their REAL enemies are people who want to kill them, not the ones who refuse to openly endorse their lifestyle. They have demonized conservatives, especially religious ones, to the point where they seem genuinely unconcerned about religions that would be happy to remove them from the face of the planet earth. (sigh)

Not only would my child stay home on gender bender day, the school would hear from me. I took the book, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN NO ONE'S EXPECTING to my daughter's science teacher. She is from Massachusetts, and really gets into the global warming scene. She keeps talking to the kids about how we have way too many babies, and not enough people are dying. I hope she reads it, or at least tones it down.

The teacher actually told the kids that humans aren't indigenous to Arizona, so my daughter, who is so respectful to her teachers it's almost like worship, asked the teacher where human beings are indigenous to. The teacher answered, but I don't think she expected the question....
