Palin: Let´s Broaden Our Audience

Sorry, been gone awhile, but Palin always brings me back to the blogosphere.

Read her recent comments in an interview with Big Government.
I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can't just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.
I think that what Palin meant was that "her audience" is so small now that she cannot even keep a contract with Fox News and is therefore relegated to giving interviews with Big Government. And when she says that we should broaden our audience, she means listening "to voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart." The extent to which the GOP will be successful in the future is the extent to which it does the exact opposite that Palin recommends.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that the GOP`s only chance of near-term success is if leaders like Christie, Jindall, and Rubio publicly and deliberately distanced themselves from the Talkers. And not in the way that Romney did -- ignoring them in some ways and placating them in others. No, Christie and Co. will need to articulate a conservatism that grapples with reality, that speaks to a broad audience, and that seeks to bring America into the future. Such a conservatism requires leaders to publicly denounce the Talkers, who sole aim is brainwashing their aging followers in an effort to sell books and maintain their radio audiences.

Palin is no longer a factor in American politics. But there are too many hucksters who will try to follow her footsteps. When successful, it is a lucrative path to trod.

For all the combative talk that Palin uses when denouncing the "establishment," the GOP will need to take the same posture against the Talkers if it wants to be successful again.

And to think that I thought this was a Palin-friendly blog! You are totally wrong about Sarah Palin and obviously fall into the category that Lloyd Marcus recently wrote about: http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/01/the_lesson_in_the_betrayal_of_sarah_palin.html.

With its large conservative viewership, Breitbart.com was an excellent choice in getting her message out. Remember that she chose Levin's radio show rather than FOX News to announce that she wasn't running for President in 2012.

Sarah Palin has millions of supporters who are waiting and ready to fight with her and for her as she leads us in the battle against the socialist left's attempt to destroy our Republic. One thing I've learned is that Governor Palin means what she says.

By the way, I deleted your autotweet from the @sarahpalinlinks site on Twitter. I'm glad I found out sooner than later that your site is not Palin-friendly.

Great to hear from you Pablo! I hope you are well.

I agree with you, though I think Romney marginalized them fairly well without going whole hog. People are afraid of them, and unfortunately they still hold a lot of power.

I believe that if Romney had won, it would have been a great smackdown of the talkers. Would have been sweet! As it is now, all we hear is how the 'establishment' chose the RINO, and by darn--next time they are NOT going to let that happen.

Arghhhhh.

Levin is a hatemonger, and the most distasteful person I can think of. So it's fitting that Palin chose him.

Ha ha. They can have each other.

'Palin Friendly blog'?

You mean because we're not slobbering all over one another like the hero worshiping Democrats towards Obama...we're somehow not worthy of your following based on 1 post?

I have one thing to say, GOOD RIDDANCE!

Sarah Palin and Mark Levin blaming Romney for Obama's re-election is like a rapist blaming his victim's short skirt for the attack.

The rapist says "She was asking for it because of the clothing she wore."

Palin and Levin say "Romney deserved to lose because he was a RINO shoved down our throats by the GOP establishment."

Classic examples of self-deceiving, self-serving, self-righteous "blame the victim" rationalizations indigenous to psychopaths and political pundits.

I read several posts on her Facebook which were disgusting in their denigration of the Mormon faith. As far as I am concerned,Palin along with the conservative radio talk show hosts as well as Fox News built a strong ABR coalition which kept conservatives home on Election Day. Sarah needs to stay in Alaska and focus on her family and Alaskan politics. Sarah is too divisive for the national stage.

I got a chuckle out of the "palin friendly blog" rigmarole. What I detest most about Palin, is she turned to the victim politics exemplified by Democrats for as long as I can remember. Just run, lady. Put up or shut up.

Palin, Levin and co. did everything they could to defeat Mitt. Then they come out and say, "SEE! WE TOLD YOU HE COULDN'T WIN!"

Oh goodness. Are we really going to have to relive the whole Palin nightmare all over again in 2016? She's STILL teasing her fans with a run. Good gravy.

Sarah Palin is not and will never be the answer to what ails us as a party. She is insignificant, someone who should have never been put into the spotlight in the first place. As for what ails us, we are our own worse enemy when we allow ourselves to destroy each other. Only an ignorant fool would sit at home and not vote because of their personal prejudices. Everyone knew what the stakes were, everyone knew the other side would try to steal this election. How could the so-called base have been so stupid? As I stated, sometimes we are our own worse enemy.

IMO Sarah has no plans to run for anything in 2016. She will blow smoke out her butt for four more years, teasing about running for POTUS and allow her very sick little cult to continue sending money to her slush fund. Currently they are recommending everyone send $48.00 in honor of her current age. What a bunch of fools. I expect they will do it again for $49.00 on her birthday next month.

The only thing relevant about
Sarah is the fact that she's irrelevant.

Palin wanted a coronation at the convention. she turned down Romney (a full term gov, btw and non-quitter)to speak at the convention because she did not want her remarks to be viewed first. She's the 'RINO', not Romney. Romney tried to bring the party togeter. That 'woman' tries to divide it. Palin and Levin can call Romney anything they want. But the fact remains that Romney won the nomination by the vote of the GOP. Minor fact the Palinista's always forget.

Sorry, that was me at 9:25am. Ellie.

It just ticks me off we have so many stupid in our party to even think of following a loser like Palin and her ilk. Preibus is smart to get her out of the way, before she causes more damage to the party.

I swear, you people are unhinged. I have never seen an entire group of people create their own versions of reality. I don't even know where to begin...

BTW, I would comment on Pablo's actual post if I believed Pablo was even remotely a Republican. He was on this site for how many years promoting Romney? Then as soon as Romney was nominated... tumbleweeds. He even has the nerve to promote Romney and Christie in the same post...And you fools welcome him with open arms...
