Hey Bosman, I'm still in shock at the results, but just wanted to say thank you for maintaining this site. I followed it religiously and enjoyed especially your insights on economics. As a parting thought, there are prophetic verses in the Book of Mormon warning us about a time in our country when the majority choose that which is wrong:

"Now it is not common that the voice of the people desireth anything contrary to that which is right; but it is common for the lesser part of the people to desire that which is not right; therefore this shall ye observe and make it your law—to do your business by the voice of the people.

And if the time comes that the voice of the people doth choose iniquity, then is the time that the judgments of God will come upon you; yea, then is the time he will visit you with great destruction even as he has hitherto visited this land." -Mosiah 29:26-27.

God help us all.

Completely agree. Up by 5 in Gallup and even or ahead in the msm polls, until Christy stabbed us in the back. I will never vote for him.

I told you guys he was an ass. In the end, Palin was a much more reliable advocate than the guy who gave the keynote at the RNC without hardly mentioning Mitt.

can you post mitt's speech?

Yup that is the case. You are bang on RW. I do not enjoy the fact that you and I were correct with regards to this guy.

Chris Christie's dog & pony show with Obama during Hurricane Sandy will go down in history as one of the most egotistical, arrogant, and selfish acts of all time by an American politician, and that's no small feat.

Christie - a.k.a. FATSO - can kiss good-bye any dreams he had of running for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

Any super-pac worth its salt would have a field day running TV ads chock full of photos of FATSO hugging Obama just days before the
most important presidential election of our lifetime.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Christie, if he chooses to run in 2016, will find that out the hard way.

Christie is toast in the party now. He is a narcissist and hope Ann Coulter is waking up to this too. She has been a fool in her support for him. Dick Morris and Karl Rove also messed this up. Polls show Obama got minorities and women and 42% of people decided their vote on the storm. WTF?

I urge all to read Romney's concession speech. His graciousness in defeat shows his character & concern for the United States.

http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2012/president/candidates/romney/2012/11/07/text-mitt-romney-concession-speech/amwp6pQYs1dJZhSPaVFSvO/story.html

I especially liked this part:

"We look to our teachers and professors, we count on you not just to teach, but to inspire our children with a passion for learning and discovery. We look to our pastors and priests and rabbis and counselors of all kinds to testify of the enduring principles upon which our society is built: honesty, charity, integrity and family. We look to our parents, for in the final analysis everything depends on the success of our homes. We look to job creators of all kinds. We’re counting on you to invest, to hire, to step forward. And we look to Democrats and Republicans in government at all levels to put the people before the politics."

We have much work to do to bring the Conservative principles to the Nation. Let's get to work!

I'm still sobbing cant believe this happened. What a great man!

I agree that Christie was the October surprise. How anyone in he GOP can support this guy is beyond me. Since New Jersey is a blue state and Christie is up for re-election in 2013,I will make it a point to send money to his Democratic Opponent. I figure NJ is pure blue anyway...so wht is the big deal. I heard Cory Booker is going to run for governor.

I couldn't believe the exit polls where 42% of the people thought this was the most important issue and since fat boy played Huggy kissy with Obama....this display of affection tipped the scales.

RW and Ohio Joe were dead on about this loser. Christie is all about Christie and nothing else.

Thanks Bosman for all of your efforts in maintains this site. I visited it regularly to get the latest updates.

@ leighrow

As a New Jerseyan, I have no intention of ever supporting Chris Christie - a.k.a. FATSO - again.

FATSO wasn't my first choice for governor, Steve Lonegan was, but Lonegan lost to FATSO in the 2009 GOP primaries.

Lonegan is an across-the-board conservative, whereas FATSO is conservative only on fiscal issues.

FATSO claims to be pro-life, but selected an openly pro-choice Lieutenant Governor.

FATSO is also pro-open borders, pro-gun control, and supported the building of a mosque at Ground Zero(9/11 World Trade Center site).

Despite his many shortcomings, I voted for FATSO in 2009 because his Democrat opponent, Jon Corzine, was a complete disaster.

But never, never, never again will I vote for FATSO for governor, even if his opponent is Adolph Hitler reincarnated.

And all for what -- a hug from Bruce Springsteen. Because NJ is still hurting.

And I double thank you for your website and your posts. A good place to come.

Hope someone is thinking about doing something to allow all of us who supported Gov Romney to express our gratitude and admiration for him and his life of accomplishment and service.

conservatives will remember what Christie did, he gave the keynote speech and used it to talk up his 2016 run without ever mentioning Romney, he STOPPED campaigning for Mitt for a couple months, then when the hurricane hit, he gave an unusual amount of credit to a president that did nothing but go to NJ and pose for photo ops. Sorry Christie you killed your chances. RUBIO2016

Christy has lost every Conservative vote he may have had the chance of getting in the future.

He may as well get a really good tan, claim he is an Indian and become a a democrat.

Big boy may have a chance elsewhere.
