A sad day for America

A few months ago, I stated that I would write a critical post if Romney lost. I'm not going down the "I told you so" road at this point. I voted for Mitt this morning, and I am as distressed as all of you that he lost.

The next four years is going to be Hell. Let's hope the GOP leadership has the stones to fight this man and his radical second term agenda.

A note to Bosman: Thank you for starting this site, and for allowing me to post here, even though I got a little  carried away with my rhetoric at times. I apologize to anyone who I offended. You are all good people in my eyes.

I hope this site remains on line. I don't know if I'll be ready to post anything for a while, but I'll pop in and out from time to time.

RW...thanks for understanding...what a shock to me. Good to see you on here again. What do you think the GOP needs to do.

GOP in my opinion needs to change their message or be dead forever, never to win again. Idiots like Mourdock and Akin didnt help with their stupid comments.

Akin and Mourdock are idiots for those comments, but this is much bigger than that. I'll just leave it at that. I'm not going to go down the blame road right now.

Please keep this blog alive, it's one of the few places we still have to express our views and opinions.
I just don't know how all of this happened, and I'm not sure if i still believe in america

I am a Canadian, but I feel your pain!

We can only hope he does not distroy the country too much more than it is.

My hopes are with ou.

Mitt Romney is the most singularly qualified man to run for President of the United States. The fact that he lost means we have not crossed the tipping point where the 'takers' outnumber the 'makers'. We are now officially on our way to Greece.

[P.S. Stop playing into the BS that Akin and Mourdock had anything to do with GOP losses. They are both good and honorable men.]

Let's keep this site open to discuss issues as they come and to share information about ways that we can help turn this economy around as individuals working together for a common goal. It would be sad to shut this site down when it is needed now more than ever!

this is hilarious. Love seeing the salty tears of defeat.

As conservatives learned last night - the hard way - trying to defeat a political opponent who has 95% of the mass media in his back pocket is a fool's errand.

Ever since I first began to post comments on this site, I've frequently reiterated my belief that CONSERVATIVES MUST DEMAND AND RECEIVE EQUAL TIME ON THE PUBLIC AIRWAVES if we ever hope to achieve our political objectives and goals.

The notorious "mainstream media" - CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC & FOX - are absolutely powerless without the exclusive broadcasting privileges & licenses that we, the American people, award them.

Conservatives have just as much a right to speak on those airwaves as liberals do, and we need to start acting that way by NOT TOLERATING the Federal Communications Commission's longstanding practice of censoring and discriminating against our viewpoints, which grossly violates the Constitutional principles of free speech and equal protection of the laws.

"THE MEDIA IS THE MESSAGE" - the sooner conservatives understand and accept this fundamental principle of mass communications, the sooner we'll start winning important elections and start reversing our once great nation's 80-year liberal death-spiral.

The controversial comments of Akin & Mourdock, as well as Christie's love-fest with Obama, wouldn't even have been a blip on the radar if not for the exclusive broadcasting privileges that we, the American people, provide to the liberal media.

We conservatives provide liberals with the bully pulpit that they use to defeat us, and then blame the media for our demise, when in fact, we should blame ourselves.

RW, it's good to see you make a post. There's no need for recriminations now of why or how the campaign was lost. There will be plenty time to do that in the future to sort it all out.

Many times you & I were in the minority with our conservative views. Both of us did vote for Romney - Ryan; I comprised my principles for the hope to preserve the Republic. I have no regrets having done so.

I hope the site remains active and as Joel2012 & an anon comment said, we need it more than ever now.

The obstacles of the media bias and the changing demagraphics in the country are considerable headwinds. Only through education & information to the voters can the case for Conservatism be made.

I hope everyone will continue to work for that. I do believe Romney & Ryan did give the campaign their best efforts. Conservatives have lost, but we will be back to fight another day if we can keep the country together.

Best to all here, Bosman, the FPP's, and all that made comments & posted information. May God Bless the United States and all that have fought to preserve our Nation, our Constitution, and our Freedoms & Liberty.

Newark Hawk. You re right about the MSM. Any republican candidate would have run against Obama and the MSM.
I honestly don't see any GOP. Candidate beating a candidate who literally controls the airwaves from the MSM to Hollywood. How does one bet that combination? Herman Cain said the presidential race has turned into a popularity contest and the most popular guy won the election.

The Democrats also on control academia which influences and indoctrinates our youth. How are we going to overcome that obstacle?

Today is such a gloomy day....I can not see how we will right the ship.

Thanks for the post, RW. It's been nice having discussions with you guys. Perhaps we'll meet again down the road.

RW & Lionhead,

I probably won't be posting as much as I have been the past 3 months. I hope you guys and other contributors STEP UP TO THE PLATE.

I'm not doing it alone!!!!!

So Right Speak is not going anywhere. It will however only be as relevant as the 'current' posts of it's contributors.

BTW, if anyone would like to contribute to this site, send me an email at:

We're attracting 6-10,000 views per-day now. You do the math.

That's pretty damn good for a fairly new site.

BOS, it would be good if you ban the troll Romneyman from the chatbox.

Bos, I just sent you an email about contributing. You do great work here. Never give up. Never surrender.
