They were fierce rivals during the Republican primary campaign, but now Newt Gingrich is preparing to wade into the debate over changes to welfare on behalf of Mitt Romney.The full story is HERE.
Gingrich – who suggested to senior Romney advisers they take on the welfare issue - has been asked to participate in a conference call on behalf of the Romney campaign, expected to take place Wednesday, according to a Gingrich source. He will also do a number of television interviews and will write an op-ed in a conservative publication to buttress Romney's position.

This is off topic but I thought you might enjoy it. A Palinbot is posting this all over FB. He actually thinks Sarah will win with her plan and leave Romney in the dust.

That FB post ^^^ sounds like Rupert Murdoch, Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin wrote it.
Any of those three kooks could have written it, however, I think it's a hard core Palinbot who doesn't understand how elections work.
I still don't like him.

p.s. I think this is self-serving and detracts from Mitt's campaign because people will agree with the president just to avoid being on the same side as Newt Gingrich.
