Obama thumbs his nose at the Immigration Decision and Arizona

Obama is planning to tell Arizona, Don't call us, we'll call you.

In an effort to tie the hands of Arizona's police, The Obama administration is suspending any agreements they've had with Arizona Police in the past:
The Obama administration said Monday it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police.
Administration officials, speaking on condition they not be named, told reporters they expect to see an increase in the number of calls they get from Arizona police — but that won’t change President Obama’s decision to limit whom the government actually tries to detain and deport.

“We will not be issuing detainers on individuals unless they clearly meet our defined priorities,” one official said in a telephone briefing.
The full story is HERE.

Under the SCOUS rulling, Arizona has the right to check the legal status of those they have reasonable suspicion to believe are in the country illegally. But it stops there. This new policy by the Obama administration basically thwarts any efforts by the Arizona police to report illegal immigrants found during there investigations and makes the ruling by the Scotus unenforceable.

I'm really beginning to hate illegal immigrants and have little or no sympathy for their circumstances. I think the Obama administration has a lot to do with it.

This just makes Obama look petty.

We have a President actively pursuing action that is against his Oath of Office, to carry out the laws of the land. We have an Attorney General that is doing the same thing.

Is this not impeachable? Obama has so many impeachable actions... I'm surprised he hasn't been brought up on those charges. I guess Republicans and independents have to have a near super majority, because the Democrats aren't going to do it.

Machtyn-I almost think that Obama would like the GOP to pursue impeachment charges because then it would take the focus off of the economy and onto the narrative that the GOP has always been out to get poor little Obama.

What I would like to see is someone like Rep King from Iowa sue the Federal government for not enforcing immigration law. King did this in Iowa against gov Vilsack a few years back and won.
