We Ask America Poll: Romney & Santorum tied in Michigan

.....some analysts have been cautioning that Romney should not be written off, especially in light of the recent history of new frontrunners quickly melting in the bright, hot lights of media scrutiny.

Those pundits may have been right. Santorum didn’t have a great weekend–getting in a bit of hot water by using the term “phony theology” in reference to President Obama’s agenda. That may be red meat for some, but the statement teed up the ball for the press and Santorum had to tap dance as they shot at his feet......
GOP Nomination:

Mitt Romney 29%
Rick Santorum 29%
Ron Paul 12%
Newt Gingrich 10%
Undecided 20%
A Survey of 1,025 likely primary voters was conducted Feb 19 and has a MOE of +/-3.06%.

The last flavor in the ice cream chest didn't last very long.

Great news for Romney. The pendulum is swinging back just in time.

I feel this goes back to who has the best track record. Mitt has proven himself as someone that can pull a failing company (or organization) out of the pit they have placed themselves in and get them back on the correct track. (US olympic Salt Lake city, bain capital, that was able to give extended life to failing compnies, etc)

What has Rick done for the economy, anyone give us a link?

I feel that the magority of people have already chosen a favorite and who they are going to vote for and there isn't going to be much in the way of flopping on people who do vote.

I wish the same could be said of our politicians and their flop or not.

Personal opinion on Rick, I don't like that 4 years he is in the ring with Romney pulling for his presidency, then when the chance to put himself in a better financial situation, he turns on one he once supported.

More women are for Mitt and more men are for Rick ... I wonder if this has to do with Mitt's ability to marry once, and be faithful to that one for his life.

Voters may like santorum, but he has some beliefs that are way outside mainstream voters. And the voters care more about beating Obama than Santorum. So Romney will win. He is the best hope at beating Obama in a General Election.

Rick Santorum becomes less likable the more people know him.

My guess is that by the time the debate comes around he will be getting angry and shrill and punchy..he has done that in the past when he was on the spot..and people don't tend to like that.
