Ménage à Trois

Jerry Seinfeld said it best, "I think it's called Ménage à Trois?" Jerry was trying to get out of a relationship by suggesting the taboo act of inviting a third party to the bedroom and it was all for laughs. Rick Santorum isn't kidding about getting into every American's bedroom and no one is laughing about it now. Do we really want to invite the government into a ménage à trois? Do we trust Rick Santorum and those that would come after him to make the right decisions for us? Should we? President Obama is just as eager to jump into American's bedrooms and both are unapologetically striking at the rugged individualism that makes America unique, vibrant, and free.

Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato. Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.

Santorum went after pre natal testing...Sarah Palin had tests like that done when she was pregnant with her last child. She said it helped prepare her..I don't think abortion was ever a consideration for her either.

The more he opens his mouth, the more he shows just how unqualified he is to be the nominee!

Santorum is a pinhead.

While I disagree with the 3 famed ABR's on here, Anon:2:32 that was really uncalled for.

Thank you Machtyn.

With respect Mr. Nemo, I do not think you need to be paranoids about secret Santorum agents hidding under your bed. You are free to carry on your current activity whether it be moral or immoral. To say otherwise is naive.

I don't think 'Pinhead' was the word I was thinking of when it came to Santorum when He wants to take personal decisions between a husband and wife, away.

Whatever the reality, in a general election, "Mr." Santorum will be portrayed as the guy who wants to (and then you fill in the blank) about some social issue which will not play well with the 5 million in the middle we need to win. On the other hand, OJ, you make this case against MAcare, but the middle don't care about that with regard to Romney. In fact, many find it a positive. So its win-win. For conservatives-a win because MItt is not doing socialized medicine; and for the GOP party, because we get the win with a guy that is basically very conservative.

I'm a pragmatic conservative with several libertarian leanings. This statement by Santorum is clear. He doesn't value individual liberty nearly as much as he should. It's truly shocking coming from someone being called a conservative. If Romney ever said this it would be a huge story.

dgenetaylor - Well outlined. Small minds can't wrap themselves around the reality of what MAcare is in a general political arena.
