John McCain has been my Senator for nearly 20 years now. I am not particularly fond of him. I hope his endorsement will help Mitt out, though. Mitt certainly worked his head off to elect McCain.

Mitt also campaigned and raised money to help turn Congress to the R side of the aisle. That is not exactly like running for President for the last 6 years. Unless, of course, you realize that you may actually need to work with people who want to make changes in the same way you do. Maybe we can all just admit that Mitt is a planner and works hard to make things happen. Not a bad trait to have in a President.
