Rick Santorum surging in Iowa!?!?!

I guess Iowa Republicans never got the memo that SANTORUM LOST HIS LAST U.S. SENATE CAMPAIGN BY 18 POINTS!!!

Hard to imagine that Barack Obama is shaking in his boots worrying about facing Santorum in the general election.

Further proof that the GOP is indeed "the stupid party".

I certainly don't believe that Santorum is a serious threat to Romney in Iowa or elsewhere, but I do find it sadly amusing that so many Iowa caucus-goers are planning to vote for this guy.

Or perhaps it's just Iowa's way of thanking Santorum for spending so much time & effort campaigning there, even if they don't really like him all that much.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they call that "the pity vote".
