Mitt Romney's SuperPAC is going up on TV for the first time, launching a massive $3.1 million TV and radio ad buy in Iowa aimed to shore up Romney's flagging poll numbers there.

Can you set me straight on this one point? He vetoed 800 line items, right? Not whole bills. That doesn't make sense as a virtue. That's more like Ron Paul's strategy of just say no and don't get anywhere. I think the point is that Mitt struck down pork whenever he found it and that led to over 800 line item vetoes. I've heard him speak about his love for the line item veto. Too bad the presidency doesn't have it. :)

Katrina...I agree. In fact. Romney vetoed about a dozen different items in the Mass Health Care bill..but they were over ridden.

However, that was not always the case. He really did cut government in Mass.

The sad thing is, Romney had 700 of his vetoes overruled. And he gets blamed for it.

Of course, he gets blamed for stuff that the next Governor of MA is doing, too. So I guess it falls in line with some people's inability to look at facts.

Crack open the war chest Mitt. Time to put Newt where he belongs---in the dustbin of history.
