Loser Limbaugh Hints at Romney as Leaker, Only to Have Cain Name Perry

Right Wing fringe Talk Radio host Rush Limbaugh sleazily alluded to Mitt Romney as the Cain Sexual Harrassment leaker on Wednesday, only to have Cain accuse Texas Governor Rick Perry a short time later. Rush used the thin connection outlined on an obscure blog, along with a story about Romney's supposed motivatations, which Rush couldn't "remember" reading, to try and tie Romney to Cain's trouble.

The only problem with Rush going down this road, is that Cain accused Perry a short time later.

Rush now looks like an ill-informed, calculating loser, who got a little too ahead of himself. The little secret about Limbaugh is, he trolls the internet and gathers the opinons of other conservative thinkers, the re-packages and regurgitates it as his own insightful wisdom.

And his lemming-like audience hang on every word. Fools.

It will be interesting to see how he squirms out of this little mudpit on Thursday's show.

Welllllll..this is what happened..the evil Rino Mormon actually hired that Wilson guy and talked him into infiltrating Perry's campaign so that when the news came out it could be traced back to Perry...thereby killing two birds with one stone..you just have to learn how to think like a paranoid egomaniac if you are going to figure this stuff out.

The truth is Rush got caught with his pants down. Ick.

Doug,

I love you man. You are still my favorite NY poster but I think your "anti-Rush & his lemming-like fool audience bias" is getting to you. He was not accusing/alluding Romney of anything. He was just reporting on the news of the day. He stated that...

So they have found -- this is all it is -- a former executive of the National Restaurant Association who has given money to Romney.

That's all. No more, no less. But everybody's trying to figure out where Politico got this. Nobody's talking, but everybody is trying to figure out who leaked it. So this connection has been unearthed, and it's just another layer on top of all this. Now that has started speculation obviously as these things do, and I forget where I saw this -- it was this morning as I was eagerly prepping. This guy Anderson, by the way, has also given money to Herman Cain, according to FEC records, but he's not given money to any other candidates, just Romney and Cain. Now the speculation is really starting. Again, as I say, I forget what I was reading this morning, but somebody was analyzing Romney (summarizing), "Who wants to be president so bad, he'll do anything.

"He wants to be president so bad just like his dad wanted to be president, and he will do anything." Of course, that doesn't prove anything.

Rush pointed out that this Anderson guy donated to both Romney and CAIN. He also was clearly commenting on another article with the line that Romney would do anything to be President. Besides the fact that he mentions it (Now the speculation is really starting. Again, as I say, I forget what I was reading this morning, but somebody was analyzing Romney), the quotes should be a dead give away. The only thing Rush should have done is put a link to the article that he was paraphrasing from.

Seriously....you Rombots need to calm down. You are the most thin skinned bunch of people that I have ever seen. You look for enemies under every rock, any criticism of Romney is like a crime against humanity & anyone who dares to challenge Romney is an enemy that must not only be defeated...but destroyed.

This election cycle is not going to get any easier. If your feeling are hurt just because Rush doesn't get on his kness and kiss Romney's back side...then it is going to be a complete Rombot meltdown when Obama and the Mainstream Media unload on him. And trust me...they will hit under the belt and make Romney out to be some evil monster.

At least you will have that "ill-informed loser and his idiot lemming-like audience" around to defend Romney.

Sorry to be so winded.

Also...anyone who thinks that Rush wants Obama to win doesn't listen to his show. He has repeatedly stated that any of the GOP nominees (except Ron Paul & Huntsman) would be a far greater President than Obama. He has also stated on more than one occasion that a 3rd Party challenge from the Right would equal 4 more years of Obama.

AJR, you need help, my friend! I'm Rush-free, and I'm here for you. Good luck.

Doug,

Rush has jumped the shark on Romney, to be sure. But he knows where his bread is buttered, and unfortunately, it's with the racists, bigots, and idiots and sheeple of this party. People who don't have to do their homework because he does it for them! So he spoons-feeds them a load of crap every day, and they eat it.

I'm so embarrassed that I ever listened.

Martha,

Thanks for insinuating that I need mental help for listening to Rush....and that I am a "racist, bigot, idiot and sheeple." I should be insulted but I am used to being talked down to by the high and mighty Rombots.

You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time. Rush had his day where he fooled a lot of us. But many of us have come to see him for what he is, an opportunistic, lying, narcissist. But there are still some who want to believe whatever Rush says. Thankfully Rush's numbers continue to decline.

That picture is the absolute, perfect depiction of Limbaugh. It truly conveys the conniving, self serving, lying, Jim Bakeresque nature of Limbaugh.

The picture would have been perfect with a pig nose.

What took me so long to wake up to how Rush really was?? He is not playing with a full deck anymore in my humble opinion. All that "Hate" Talk finally got to him.RIP Rush!!

I haven't listened to pigman in years.

I'm glad to read he's becoming more and more irrelevant.

Anonymous said...

I would like to see he proof that "pigman" is becoming more and more irrelevant. Any articles that I can read?

It must have taken you all morning to think of pigman Larry. How much of your Rombot core processing did you use?

Its funny...because if Limbaugh supported Romney (BTW, he hasn't endorsed anyone) you would be saying how great he was.

Actually, if Limbaugh was actively supporting Romney right now, almost all of you (including Doug and Martha) would be singing his praises.

Only DanL (who has always been critical) and Pablo (who would prefer that Limbaugh, his listeners, the rest of Talk Radio & even the Tea Party itself be purged from the GOP so he could have his dream ReFrumlican Party) would still be anti-Limbaugh.

"Actually, if Limbaugh was actively supporting Romney right now, almost all of you (including Doug and Martha) would be singing his praises." BINGO, they all loved him in 08.

As far as I can tell, Rush mentioned a possible Romney connection, but not the possible Perry connection. Both of the possible Perry and Romney connections were out at the same time.

"they all loved him in 08"

Ironically, it was the 08 election that soured me on Limbaugh and the rest of talk radio. Limbaugh was going all out to try to stop McCain and he failed, utterly. So did the rest of talk radio. And then there was that Operation Chaos nonsense. It was after Obama won election that I stopped listening to talk radio.

AJR,

I don't think that those of us who support Romney are necessarily more thin-skinned than people in other camps. At least we don't drop the F-bomb as often when we get upset as some of the people in another camp that shall remain nameless.

AJR, I was not trying to be condescending, but just tease you a little. After all, I listened to Rush for years!

Honestly, I don't care if Rush eventually comes to his senses or not on Romney. There's an upside and downside to it. Like Christine O'Donnell the other day--not sure if it helped or hurt.

"And then there was that Operation Chaos nonsense." For the record I was never supportive of Operation Chaos. Further, Mr. Limbaugh is given too much credit for Operation Chaos and he gives himself too much credit for it. Several Conservatives in my neighborhood wanted me to become a Democrat before Mr. Limbaugh even mentioned it.

Ohio JOE said...

"I don't think that those of us who support Romney are necessarily more thin-skinned than people in other camps. " True, but not all are less thin-skinned either. Your camp may not have a monopology on crying over spilt milk, but it certainly exists.

Tired of hearing the mostly media generated narrative on Romney's positions, and the voters supposed dissatisfaction with him as the GOP nominee.

So Rush doesn't like him - maybe just a sign that a lot of other citizens will!

Sally,

Rush has never said that he doesn't like Romney. He has always said that he is a nice man (he was even at Limbaugh's Christmas party). If (and when) Romney is the nominee, Limbaugh will support him.

A.J.R.

Sally said...

That is true - I think he does actually "like" him in the truest sense of the word, and would be forced to support him if he were the nominee.
I'm just not buying into all the Romney bashing he is pedaling.

Perry looks like a snake in the grass..anyone putting his name on a deed to a ranch called Ni**erhead and hunting on it for years without changing the name..would do anything.

Machtyn said...

I think Rush is strongly misguided and now hypocritical. I still like him and think that he is a good spokesman for the conservative idea.

However, his 99.7% of being right is going to take a beating this year. He has not been right during this political season. Not with Romney, probably not with some of the other candidates.

I don't listen to him anymore. Because of this current episode, I cannot trust half of anything he states (whereas, before, I only trusted most of what he stated). He is establishment.

Terrye said...

See...I told you..right off the bat we have a guy try to tie this to Romney because of the National Restaurant Association...well people for heavens sakes, Cain was running that place for years himself so apparently it is not that big a deal for someone from the Restaurant Association to be associated with a Republican.

Besides, didn't you hear the Cain people? They called out Perry on this, not Romney.

I've listened to Rush for 30 years and stopped listening this year when he started the Romney bashing. There was NO reason for the tirades unleashed on that man. My life is actually a whole lot more calm now that I don't listen to his tirades of the day!!

Ronald Reagan Jesse Helms Republican here who no longer listens to Limbaugh with all his Romney Bashing. Really has opened my eyes, used to be a 24/7 member too. Not as smart as I thought he was.

I also refuse to listen to Rush Limbaugh now. I cannot stand his obvious bias and Romney bashing. He is a hypocritcal jerk. My husband was a faithful listener and even he is getting fed up. Trying to allude that Romney leaked this on Cain just about finished him. I hope he quits listening completely also, because I am getting tired of having to deprogram him each evening with what is really true...lol. However, according to my husband, now that it is clearly Rick Perry, the sleeze, that did this, suddenly Rush and Hannity for that matter, say it really doesn't matter who leaked it afterall...imagine that. Sheesh.

OJ,

You didn't know me in 2008, so where do you get off saying I loved Limbaugh back ten.

Rush has his moments, but I never signed over my brain to him.

There was a period of a few months when I first got my IPOD and had the show downloaded. I listened to it every mornig on the way to work. After awhile I cancelled the subscription because I found I too angry and combative at work.

AJR - I thought I posted this earlier but it didn't take. Good to see you, it's been to long. I'm just giving Rush a little back what he gives everyone else. I'll be glad to have anyone back Mitt in 2012, even you and JR. Tell me, is he still p.o. at me? Tell him I bear no malice or grudges.

Best to you both.

Anonymous said...

Doug,

As far as I know, JR isn't mad at you but I will tell him what you said. He and I just took a break from all the political stuff. Not sure when or if he will return. I probably won't even be around as much. I am kinda burned out actually. All of the political fighting has worn me out (plus watching the Phillies blow it in the playoffs but I won't get into that). I do look forward to the end of the in-fighing and the GOP uniting to defeat the real problem....Obama.

I always said that I will support whomever the GOP nominee is and Romney is the best of this bunch. I just wouldn't get too down on Limbaugh. When Romney is the nominee, Rush will support him and defend him against the slimeball attacks from the Left & Mainstream Media.

I hold no grudges or malice either and I do want to apologize to you for being an ass sometimes. Hope all is well.

Al Davis was the most brilliant, most perceptive man in football for around twenty years. And he became perhaps the worst NFL dictator and most self-destructing force in the sport for the last 20+ years of his life.

Only the truly humble can retain their brilliance for a lifetime.

For me, Rush's arrogance has drowned out any insight he provided long ago. And his recent anti-Mitt focus that I've read online has only ensured I'll never go back.

Nice thread.

AJR -- way to show genuine humility and class.

I agree that Rush will eventually get on the bandwagon. I also am sure his impact is negligible. Like you, I'm ready to move this fight to the next level--we have to get O out.
