Rick Perry feels he could handle Obama in a debate

No, this is not his feelings before he entered the race, this is what he said Sunday:
"I'm not worried a bit that I'll be able to stand on the stage with Barack Obama and draw a very bright line," Perry said.
Well, I'm so glad he told us that. I was beginning to worry, weren't you? Especially in light of debate performances like this:

I Know..I Know...He'll be ready for Obama because he's all revved up and understands the importance that the Presidential debates hold when choosing a President. Oh wait:

Still not convinced? Well what about all that practice he'll get in the remaining 18 or so debates? That surely would prepare him:

Ah...............well..........he say's he'll be ready, shouldn't that be enough?

we need to make sure that Perry gets nowhere near that stage.

I am not sure that any of them, other than Romney can handle Obama in a debate..and Romney would not have an easy time of it. I think too many Gopers are under the impression that Barack Obama will be easy to beat. I am not so sure about that.

Newt Gingrich, might, be able to do it. But he's the only other one with the experience and knowledge to handle it.

Interesting. If you listen a little longer, Rick Perry says that if you want to know how a person will do, look at their past.

Well, Rick, your past debate skills in the current election season, your debate dodges when running for governor, and your nasty and lying campaign tactics employed both now and in past governor elections, and finally your governing and cronyism really do give us pause.

Nice job Bos pointing out the inconsistencies in Perry's statements.

There is absolutely no way that Perry could come out of a debate with Obama as a winner.
