Wow, one of these two could be president of the united states. The other one is Herman Cain.

Checking the dates of this week’s polling data, this Rassmussen is the only post-debate/Christie endorsement set of numbers we have.

Romney goes up 5 and now is poised to break through the “media imposed” ceiling he is supposed to have (let’s just over look the other candidates running, I mean is Romney supposed be at 50% at this point? LOL)and the more widely available CNN debate this week will offer a prime oppurtunity to do this.

Cain, whom I like very much, is not ready to run a campaign or serve. He just simply has not put the machinary in place and he has not fleshed out his positions suffciently to attract more voters. His VP stock however is very much on the rise and he would be a strong contender, albeit one with liabilities.

The really happy news is that Dirtbag Perry is done. So done in fact, his brand is ruined. Prior to running, when he was an unknown, he was a conservative media darling. Free to roam talk radio circles, speaking in slogans and sound bites. He was a star.

Now that he took a slick, opputunistic and fake shot at running for President, by his own hand (and mouth) he has revealed himself to be a fool. He’ll leave the campaign diminished and damaged, far from the status he claimed before he threw his empty hat into the ring.
