Sarah Palin Calls out Rick Perry on the HPV Vaccine

Sarah Palin called out Texas Gov. Rick Perry by name Monday night after the GOP debate, criticizing his participation in “crony capitalism” and for deciding he “was going to know better” than parents what was best for their daughters’ health.

[...]

Ms. Palin’s comments marked the first time the tea-party favorite explicitly criticized Mr. Perry over the Gardasil vaccine. She has railed against “crony capitalism” in speeches and on TV, though without ever mentioning a specific candidate besides President Barack Obama. Her much-watched speech in Indianola, Iowa, this month largely focused on the topic. When asked that speech if she was referring to Mr. Perry, she replied, “I want all of our GOP candidates to take the opportunity to kill corporate capitalism that is leading to this cronyism, which is ruining our economy.”

Bosman... not sure that using anything Palin says is a good idea.

Palin is a liability.

LOL.... she isn't running and if she did she would lose to Obama in one of widest margins in history.

Palin is so unpopular that there is no way she could win an election.

Or be an asset to anyones campaign.

Her political career is over.

"Palin is a liability." Shhh, unless she is attacking a non-Romney candidate, all of a sudden the tune is changed. Funny.

I agree, I dont like Perry but at least he gathered up the cojones to finally enter the race, queen Palin seems too scared to even make the decison to run instead just occasionally appearing on fox to let the world know that she is still breathing but yet hasnt decided yet.

She is quickly becoming irrelevant and to save her some respect, she needs to enter now and stop teasing her people.

I don't think Palin should or will run for president. However, I welcome her voice in the political discourse. There is no reason for a person to run for president in order to express their opinion.

I do think she should state her intentions regarding her run. I'm pretty sure I know what she'll say, but I think she owes it to her supporters to state her intentions.

Palin is not a liability, Perry is.

An anon, should we turn away Palin's supporters as well? or ask for their support after insulting their first choice?

Sarah's voice IS significant in this, and other conservative issues, because to many she IS a tea party leader. Her courage to state facts and her opinion (especially on a cable station that has a "mandate" itself to promote/protect Perry---no vetting necessary) is certainly appreciated by ALL honest men and women loving this country. I appreciate Sarah's voice altho I'm not a fan for her as POTUS....this time!

We've already seen the results of slick, tough talking and no vetting in the last election. The GOP can't be "stupid" and put an unvetted GOP nominee to face Obama and the liberal media! They will certainly do worse than the "punching" he took over his big government actions in the last 2 debates! And we will be fools. And we will have another 4 years of dangerous to irretreviable damage to our country.

"but I think she owes it to her supporters to state her intentions." Why?

Revolution 2012:

Despite the fact that you have been around here for ages, I confess that I do not know you quite as well as various other posters and contributors. However, I do know that you do not make a habit of trashing Conservatives nor the various candidates that they support and that I admire. I strike me as a Conservative yourself and thus you do not mind being on the same team as other Conservatives.

Unfortunately, I believe that many in your camp do not want to be on the same team, and would be pleased to see us go. To be blunt, many of us are packing our bags preparing for an exit should we feel it necessary. Unfortunately, people like you seem to be in the minority, but if we do decide to stay, it will be because people like you are willing to have Conservatives in the party.

OJ

I don't think the majority of Romney supporters want "us" to leave. Sure, General Pablo can't wait to be rid of Conservatives and Tea Partiers so his newly designated ReFrumlican Party can act like Democrat-lite and get crushed in election after election. The ReFrumlicans would be complete losers but they would be so much smarter and they would be rid of Conservatives/Tea Partiers/brain dead hypnotized idiot Rush Limbaugh listeners. Plus the mainstream media would "love" them. Nothing greater for a ReFrumlican sap to be called "reasonable" by Keith Olbermann & Chris Matthews.

Palin is indeed a liability.

She endorses Romney it will cost him votes with middle voters.

Palin was one of the major reasons McCain was defeated. She alienated middle voters.
