Rick Perry's new ad: Is there a little of The Pot Calling The Kettle Black?

I couldn't help but notice this clip in the ad above:

There is no doubt that President Obama has created an atmosphere that is ripe for poverty in this country. Saying that, It seems that RICK PERRY has created the same atmosphere in Texas. It's better you see this here now, than plastered in some Obama ad if Perry is the GOP nominee:

Click photo to read this other report
A report from the Austin-based nonprofit Center for Public Policy Priorities said that despite the additional jobs created in recent years, Texas’ poverty rate is higher than the rest of the country’s — and growing faster than the national rate. The poverty rate in Texas jumped to 18.4 percent in 2010 from 17.3 percent in 2009, compared to national rates of 15.1 percent in 2010 and 14.3 percent in 2009. The statistics mean that in 2010, 4.6 million Texans were living in poverty–earning $22,113 a year or less for a family of four.

Texas also tied with Mississippi for having the highest proportion of low-wage workers in the country–nearly 10 percent of all hourly employees, according to the report."

Does the fact that fully 20 % of ALL TEXANS live in poverty ring any bells ? If the nation wants a President who is familiar with increasing poverty to help us out of the depression, Rick's the guy.

The best line in this article... And it needs to be pounded into Limbaugh's head:

I dislike Perry as much as you do, but Austin is a VERY liberal place in Texas. I have no doubt that the study you are quoting is from some liberal group. Many GOP voters will dismiss it as such. I think we will be more effective with the fact that Perry is soft--very soft--on immigration. That is really his Achilles' heel.

Hmm... Perry said I won't apologize for America, and he believes in America... where have I heard that before!

You're right Bos.

The Democratic ad makers are salivating at the thought of a Perry nomination.

Hey Bos,

The Romney teem must have read your blog. They came out with something similar after you posted this.

They're calling Perry, Governor Sub-Zero for his record in Texas.
