Romney Leads Obama in Pennsylvania

Quinipiac's new poll, out this morning, has Romney taking a slight lead over Obama in Pennsylvania, the only GOP candidate to lead the President.



Romney ..........44 %.............Obama.........42 %  (+2)
Obama............ 45 %.............Santorum.... 43 %  (-2)
Obama............ 45 %.............Perry............ 39 %  (-6)
Obama............ 47 %.............Bachmann... 39 %  (-8)

Romney also continues to lead the GOP, even with the new inclusion of Ric Perry

Romney.......21 %
Santorum....14 %
Palin............12 %
Bachmann.. 11 %
Perry........... 8 %
Paul............ 5 %
Gingrich..... 4 %
Cain............ 4 %
Pawlenty.... 2 %
Huntsman.. 1 %
The survey was conducted From July 25 - 31, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,358 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.7 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones. The survey includes 532 Republicans with a margin of error of +/- 4.3 percentage points.

Romney makes the chances of taking Pennsylvania in the general a reality.

Romney seems to be the only candidate who gives Obama a run for the money in several blue/purple states.
