The banner at the start of the CNBC segment reads “What’s the Deal?” And that’s a question some viewers may have asked by the end of the segment after watching CNBC’s Rick Santelli go very nearly grandma-punching crazy in a segment about spending and the debt ceiling. “I don’t believe in compromise on spending,” Santelli shouted. “There’s no compromise. Stop spending.” And from there it got weirder.

Santelli is correct!
I think he shows America's frustration on this issue. What's so hard about spending lest than what you have?
"Santelli is correct!" BINGO! We do not need a silly compromise, we just need to cut spending. Perhaps if I keep spending more than I take (salary, interst, investment income) and the bank wants to take over one of my houses so I can may them, I can just say to the bank. Just let me spend 110% of my annual income instead of 111%. Eventually, it does not work this way. It is time for Mr. Obama cut spending, there is nothing to negotiate. If Republican want to negotiate with Mr. Obama, they are just as silly and reckless.
I agree also.
Unless there are substantial cuts, raising the limit just makes the wound fester.
It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
