This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone July 14-17, 2011, among a random national sample of 1,001 adults, including landline and cellphone-only respondents. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points for the full sample and 5.5 points for leaned Republicans.

If Palin were actually in the race she would be polling higher. I'm not saying that she would be winning, just that she would be higher. And Perry and Bachmann would be polling more like Pawlenty.

I also think that Romney's numbers may rise as an anti-Palin vote.
So both Palin and Romney would benefit.

Romney wins hands down in most of these categories.

I think palin would be neck and neck with romney if she were officially in, she may even beat romney and win the nomination, but we have to loook ahead at the matchup with obama, and thats where palin will lose big time is against obama, while romney has a chance at beating obama.
