Sarah Palin discusses Mitt Romney and other issues on Fox News Sunday (VIDEO 06-05-11)

Just a side note to this video. If you missed it, it's at the 7:40 minute mark. Sarah Palin mentioned that she doesn't like Romneys health care mandate in Massachusets. As she puts it:

"What I did in the state of Alaska, and that was to usher in as much as I could strong efforts to allow competition and more private decisions being made between the health care recipient and their doctor or their insurance company. That's what I engaged in and that's a difference in philosophy"

Gallup had a poll on Health care that points out that:

Massachusetts was NUMBER 1 in the LEAST amount of uninsured citizens
Alaska was NUMBER 38 with 20.2% of it's citizens uninsured.

So Sarah, you may have had a different philosophy than Mitt as Governor of Alaska, but it didn't seem to translate into positive results for your state.

SOURCE

Oh, and BTW, as a born in Boston, lived in Massachusetts my whole life kinda guy, Sarah...Just say you screwed up on Paul Revere.

Now I admit I don't carry a Palinese translation book and perhaps I should. But for the life of me, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. You're only digging yourself into a deeper hole.

I remember when Adam X was just Adam and when he actually leaned towards Mr. Romney.

bosman, you are right: This has been fun watching! As you can attest, I have not commented until right now. But honestly, re writing history to suit Palin and her followers is just wrong. My children know the story of Paul Revere, and Palin does not. I heard she's now homeschooling her daughter Willow. Geeze, that's pretty scary, knowing her knowledge on subjects like science and history.

Ellie, not to be mean, but you claiming to know the Paul Revere story is not scary, it is just plain funny. Stick to Paul Revere and the Raiders and you will be just fine.

OJ, with all due respect back, unlike you, I can read actual history books.I've also been to the same historial sites that the queen went last week on her 'family' vacation (sans the family). I don't need to re write history to fit my needs, as your queen seems to want to do! That was just embarrassing for everyone. Why can't she admit that she got her facts scrambled up and move on? She's not perfect nor infallible. Only one person was that.

She only got the fact scambled up in your head. Yes you can read. But how about reading some non-liberal stuff.

Holy Moly!

I guess I missed all the fun today.

It's hilarious that Palin's fans are quoting an opinion piece in the LA Times to prove she is right. They don't go to history, they use an OPINION piece (probably paid for by Sarah PAC) to try and justify her lack of knowledge.

What's also funny (or scary) is that the piece attempts to prove what Sarah "meant". When it's not at all what Sarah said......either time.

These are media feuds former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, has participated in from the last two years since she was launched from obscurity. It should be noted they’re in no particular order. I’ve also omitted people who just jab at her without her responding (e.g. Meghan McCain) but those are rare.

This is a work in progress – including typos. Check back as more names are added. When I originally published the list in November there were under 50 names. I’ve added more as people have sent me more names that qualify. And then of course, she starts new ones. And then I add those.

This list started as an overflow of names that couldn’t fit into my column: America’s Full-Time Professional Duelist

Know of a feud I missed? Send me an email.

Yeah, we go to the LA Times and you go to the NY Times. So we are one level ahead of you, but we can list Conservative sources as well. Not that you care about what Conservatives say.

Ohio JOE said...

Yes Ellie (or Thunder) you added a few extra names to the list, but at least the majority on the Palin enemy list are either liberal or moderate. On the other hand. Mr. Romney's enemy list are full of Conservatives. And you expect Conservatives to trust him? Hahahahaha, OKaaaaaay?

This comment thread is an example of one reason I think Sarah Palin should not be a candidate for president. This nation deserves a serious honest debate as we select
the GOP nomination. We deserve a serious and honest debate in the general election. It seems to me that most if not all conversations that deal with Sarah Palin rapidly deteriorate into squabbling, arguing, name-calling, childish behavior. If we're doing it for fun, that's fine. But this country is facing serious challenges and very important issues. Sarah Palin's participation in the dialogue is unfortunately bringing the level of discourse way, way down.

Noelle, I disagree...it's not our fault that Sam from MA had gas, it is also not our fault that Palin's clam bake received more coverage than Mitt Romney's presidential announcement.

He will never be a serious contender if a clam bake can beat the most important speech of his career.

I agree there is a time for serious conversation...did you watch her fox news interview on Sunday...there was plenty of serious conversation happening at that interview. I wanted to have that conversation but unfortunately certain people would rather talk about what Palin said about Paul Revere.

I appreciate your input, on this site, but open your eyes and stop being so myopic. Sarah Palin spends every day fighting for the conservative cause, yet she gets blind-sided by friends and foes alike.

Of the entire Wallace interview, AOL only reported the 30 seconds that she defended herself about her Paul Revere comment.

Of the entire Wallace interview, Bosman only spoke of the 30 seconds she defended herself about the Paul Revere comment...also he spoke about the one minute she admitted that she disagreed with Romney's position on mandates. He didn't even mention that she thought he was a serious man and applauded a lot of his actions as a candidate.

Give me a break!!!

"This nation deserves a serious honest debate as we select
the GOP nomination." Ding ding ding. We have another winner. Notice how Romneyites are not capable of debating Mrs. Palin's policies. If Romneyites cannot even tell the truth, how can we trust their camp leader as President. Time for Romneyites to grow up and quit the crying.

"Sarah Palin spends every day fighting for the conservative cause, yet she gets blind-sided by friends and foes alike." Shhhh, I'm begining to wonder if these people actually want to promote Conservatism.

Jersey Republican, if you're being honest with yourself, you will recognize that you are just as guilty as any "Rombot" when it comes to hurling around insults. You can deny it if you want, but I read a lot of comments here, and while there are plenty of childish insults directed toward Palin and her supporters, Palin's supporters do the same thing. I do not condone either. In fact, on more than one occasion I have asked readers here to be more respectful in their conversation. I was disregarded.

I did watch Palin's interview with Chris Wallace. It confirmed what I have thought all along about Palin. I agree with some of her positions, disagree with others. I think she is very weak when it comes to conveying her message. The Paul Revere incident is an example. While there might have been some accuracy in what she said, it was well hidden with obscure references and unclear language.

Last gasps from Palin supporters. I feel your pain, guys.

BTW - this is my first comment on this threat. I told you Jersey, I never hide who I am. Bosman can verify.

RW - So, if Palin gets a fair shake, huh? What constitutes a fair shake? LOL. She's had a fair shake for the last 2 years being 100% unfiltered. That's reality, and most Americans have said no thanks.

If she runs, she can make her case, and try to turn it around. For your sakes, I hope she runs so you guys can have closure.

-Martha

"Jersey Republican, if you're being honest with yourself, you will recognize that you are just as guilty as any "Rombot" when it comes to hurling around insults." Jersey never claimed to be not guilty. You on the other hand tried to play the 'above the fray card.' Jersey caught you with your hand in the cookie jar. quit the crying.

Yes Martha, closure would be prevented your three loose cannons from becoming President, Daniels and Barbour down, Mr. Romney to go. Not bad, we are batting .666 and the game is not over yet.

RW - As for the clambake, I heard 30 people showed up, almost all reporters. Whoo hoo!

Yes, she got the front page pic, but Romney gets respect. She is playing right into his hand.

-Martha

Ohio JOE said...

"but Romney gets respect." Yes, from the liberal.

Noelle said...

I'm sorry, how was I caught "with my hand in the cookie jar?" I don't know what you're talking about. What makes you think I'm crying or in any way upset at all?

Ohio JOE said...

Well with respect, you do not want to talk about Mrs. Palin because it turns into silliness. First It is the people on your side of the aisle that descent into such silliness, yet you act as if you guys are above it. Second, talking about Mr. Romney does not involve anything less silly. I suppose we could trash the Romney family like your side trashes the Palin family, but we won't go that far.

As for your crying, you guys have done nothing, but complain that Mrs. Palin answered a reporter's question about Mr. Romney. In future, if you guys do not want a question answered, perhaps, it should not be asked. So stop blaming Mrs. Palin for your problems.

Hey, hey, hey....Sam you better make that DEMOCRATIC NYers!!

:)

Weiner is actually me Rep. I never voted for him. I have called his office on occasion and left abusive voicemails. Well, not really abusive, but they were undeniably negative.

I'll be calling again requesting he resign.

Noelle said...

Ohio Joe, your response is to my side, not to me. I don't descend to name-calling. Some Romney supporters do, but they don't speak for me and I don't speak for them. And Palin supporters do too. When you respond to my comments, respond to me, not to my side. My belief that we should be respectful to all candidates and potential candidates refers to all of them. I don't exclude Romney supporters from that request. But neither Romney supporters nor Palin supporters seem inclined to see things my way. That's fine. It's their right, but both sides are equally guilty.

palin is the biggest moron i have ever seen in the political arena. everytime she opens her mouth, something even more stupid comes out. if she wasn't halfway attractive, no one would be listening. the fact that anyone would support her is absolutely astounding. this country has become of parody of "dumb and dumber".
