Palin puts the brakes on her bus Tour?

....In an apparent repudiation to those who dismissed her trip as a mere publicity stunt, Palin's openness with reporters about her intentions to visit Iowa and South Carolina -- in addition to her highly scrutinized stop in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire -- lent credence to her repeated assertions that she was indeed seriously considering a White House bid.

Though Palin and her staff never announced a timeline for the remaining legs of her trip, aides had drafted preliminary itineraries that would have taken her through the Midwest and Southeast at some point this month. But those travel blueprints are now in limbo, RCP has learned, as Palin and her family have reverted to the friendly confines of summertime Alaska, where the skies are currently alight for over 19 hours a day and the Bristol Bay salmon fishing season is nearing its peak.....
The full story is here.

It's pretty clear by now that Palin does what she wants, when she wants and anyone who doesn't like it can jump in the lake. It's one of the things people like about her.

But it sure leaves her fans without much to grasp onto. She is going to milk this presidential cat and mouse game until after her movie has run it's course. I don't think it's very fair to the people who are anxiously waiting and hoping she runs.

But then again, Palin is all about Palin 24/7.

I find it rather disgusting that a politician--who knows very well she's not running--continues to lead people on for personal/monetary benefit.

I once thought Palin would run for sure. Now I see that the people who claimed it was all about the money/fame were probably right all along.

I wonder if this is just a money thing, and her supporters begin to catch on, What per-cent of them will be influenced by her if she decides to endorse someone?

Palin cancels trip to Sudan

yep, she sees that nobody gives a damn about her...she strings her supporters along and has them believing that she will run,but shes not. I feel sorry for some at C4P, theyre so brainwashed by palin's antics that they refuse to believe theres a possibility she wont run.

Is she doesn't run, I wouldn't blame her.

She's still very young and might as well make the money while she can.

She'll tease her base for as long as she can. She knows that the instant she admits she's not running her cash cow will die. Sarah has always been about two and being a celebrity. She doesn't give a crap about Alaska or the lower 48. It's all about Sarah.

I am surprised this story hasn't been updated?

Why don't you people realize that she'll make more money in the end if she runs? If she doesn't run she will quickly become irrelevant...look at Gingrich as a perfect example. Her grassroots support exists only because of the belief that she will run for President. This is her year to do it, since she has led the fight against Obama for the past 3 years. If she doesn't run, her support will fade and it will move on to the next flavor.

She said she had 'jury duty'.

My theory? She parked the bus, 'leaked' that it was parked, then was able to tweet that it's on after her "jury duty" gig.

Wonder why she cancelled Sudan? Could it be that she and Frankie actually LISTENED to the Obama state department that said it' really NOT safe there and they will not provide any protection?

So now you're making fun of Franklin Graham as are such a Democrat...I hope I see the day when you announce that fact to everybody.

Well...Franklin Graham isn't a Mormon. What would you expect from Ellie. She's a bigot.

Update 5:30pm. It has just been announced that Sarah Palin has been excused from jury duty.

The State of Alaska announced that it could not afford the $150,000 fee for Sarah's appearance.

The truth is......

Palin is presently involved in two lawsuits.
The Chip Thoma suit that was moved to federal court and the trademark infringement case.
A preliminary juror questionnaire
would have asked the potential juror
for any lawsuits and legal cases
they had been involved in.
Or were presently involved in.
Palin's pending court cases would have immediately ruled her out for even
being called for jury duty.
This doesn't pass the smell test.

She's been using alternative transportation. It's more preferred than a bigger vehicle.

I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that's at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this.
