I rather suspect that now that Bachmann is officially in, Palin will not run. This is not to say that they are the same, but I suspect that to a large extent they are competing for the same group of voters.

I thought it was cheesy of MB to make her 'announcement' at this debate. she did not pay for the mike. Glad she's in. I keeps Palin out, but not palins peeps who keep 'living the dream'.

She changed every question she got to plugging her 23 foster kids.

Yeah, how many times can you say 23 foster kids. At first, we say ALL RIGHT! Then after that it was just pathetic.

Romney has a tendency to talk about his kids too much, too. Everyone knows about the 5 kids, the 5 daughters-in-law, and the 16 grandkids. Sometimes the Mitt/Ann story gets too much for me, too. It's great, but they over-play it.

And them Tim said he's a neighbor? So silly.

Newt had the best opening line--about jobs. That should have been Romney's.

Romney won, okay I get it. But he did not shine. To be fair, I don't think the format gave him an opportunity to stand out, and he was somewhat diminished by standing next to everyone who is literally in a lower tier.

Her candidacy can only help Romney.

If Bachmann lite (Palin) gets in also, that will assure a Romney victory.

I think she did well for herself WHEN she actually answered the question being asked.

Bachmann has stolen the thunder from Palin.

This has to be very disappointing for Palin supporters.

i think bill o reilly is right, bachmann is running to be romney's VP

Romney's VP will come from the South.

Romney gains nothing geographical for the ticket.

There are Southerners who would satisfy the Tea Party, Evangelicals, and so-cons. without scaring away independents.
