Full Video of Palin's Remarks Following the Premiere of "The Undefeated"

Some of you may be familiar with the blogger, "Teledude" from Race42012.com. Apparently, he had a front row seat for the premiere of "The Undefeated." The following is the video he took of Governor Palin's remarks following the movie. This is the best, most complete video of the speech available.

Here's is a little of what Teledude had to say about his experience.
(...)

We got our tickets for the movie and as we went in we found we had assigned seats. Ours were in the very front row, which were excellent seats. Governor Palin was seated just four rows behind us. What happened next has been much talked about, and it was totally unexpected, but after the movie ended Governor Palin got up and gave some extemporaneous remarks .

Siting in the front row, we had the perfect vantage point. We were so close we could have almost reached out and touched her. She was literally only a couple feet in front of us as she delivered this heart felt and moving, off the cuff speech. You will notice there was no teleprompter nor even any notes.

She spoke with the conviction of someone who believes what they are saying. Sitting that close for this stirring speech was truly inspirational. She is the real deal.

The video is very hard to understand, so I have provided the entire transcript…verbatim. It’s long, so I’ll post in two comments.

…so our state could be a contributor to the rest of the U.S., instead of a taker from the U.S. because we have the energy up there and we can be producing, we can be supplying to allow all of us energy independence, energy security. We worked so hard on that. We worked so hard on ethics reform. We worked hard on cutting budgets and vetoing the largest amounts of money in our state’s history, and all those things that the lamestream media completely ignores and wants to dismiss, and yet that set a foundation for what our administration was going to be all about.(And that must be why more people in Alaska, which hasn’t voted for a Democratic President since Johnson, would rather vote for Barack Obama in 2012, than you. See poll HERE.)
So it’s it’s very humbling to know that someone has put such effort into documenting what our team was able to accomplish. And it was a pretty simple agenda. It was all about smaller smarter government, putting the faith and the power back into the people of our state and of course that needs to uh be transitioned into our nation where the people of this country are empowered again and individual rights and freedoms and responsibilitiesbefore America so our state could be a contributor are once again embraced by Americans and that will bring us back to the exceptional place that America should be. But humbling to know that someone has put such effort into documenting my team’s efforts, but even more than that, at the same time as acknowledging what this has documented for me personally. It’s just the the realization that that it’s not about me. (What it means to me personally is that it’s not about me?) The movie’s not about me – it’s about America’s values; it’s about the work ethic that you here in Iowa you all embrace. (Not like those lazy people that live near water that I’m not going to show my movie anywhere near) This film really illustrates a person, a people’s desire to be involved in the greatest government in our world’s history. Wanting to be involved for the right reasons here in America because we are exceptional. Our founding documents, our charters of liberty created a blueprint that would allow us towards more perfect of a union if we would just follow this blueprint so people wanting to be involved with the democratic process within a republic – all of you wanting to be involved for the right reasons. That’s what this film illustrates. (I don’t know what any of that means.)
Got into politics for the right reasons twenty years ago, stayed in politics, put up with what the media does to all of us for the right reasons, and it’s to protect our Constitution. (Make it stop!) It’s to protect the opportunities we all have here in America that has made us so exceptional and to continue to allow us to be an exceptional nation, and we don’t need to transform America into anything else. We need to restore all that is good and free about America.

Anonymous said...

So, what is so impressive to me about this film is how that is illustrated – not Sarah Palin, not even my record, but the values that are embraced, held by so many good patriotic hard-working Americans who understand freedom, who understand how important it is to fight for freedom – for the opportunities that God has given us here. We’re not going to squander it. We’re not gonna blow it. We’re gonna do… we’re gonna go down fightin’! (Does that mean you know you ARE “going down?”)
What this film shows is that in America, anyone can make a difference. You don’t need a title. You don’t need a political position. Anyone can make a difference being willing to be involved and to sacrifice much, to sacrifice reputation, to sacrifice time of leisure and and perhaps other things that you would love to be able to do but instead you’re going to put your efforts into doing what’s right for other people, providing great opportunities for other people, not provide hope for other people, and that’s what this country needs is not the “hopey changey” stuff that you heard about on the campaign trail, but real hope. And you know where real hope comes from? (I’m afraid to ask but I think you’re going to tell me anyway) Real hope comes from realizing what it is that God has blessed this country with. Realizing that he has shed his grace on thee, realizing what he has provided this country and then doing something about it. What he has provided America – we have the natural resources, we have the farmland, we have the oil and the natural gas and the coal. We have the resources to be self-sufficient. We don’t have to rely on Saudi Arabia, on Venezuela, (inaudible) <—– It doesn’t matter that there’s an inaudible part in something which in its entirety is unintelligible.

Anonymous said...

We don’t have to rely on foreign countries to produce for America. Yes, actually… we do at the moment. We don’t have to be subsidizing drilling in Brazil. We have to get… our government has to get out of the way and let our private sector do what it does best in responsibly developing our natural resources, and then creating jobs. Yeah, think of all those oil spill clean up jobs from the responsible private sector exploration in the Gulf! Great for the economy! Our government needs to back off, let the private sector, our job creators grow more jobs by keeping more of what we earn so that we can prioritize and reinvest according to our own priorities.
What God has provided us with natural resources, with ingenuity, with land mass here in America, with our founding documents that are based on Judeo-Christian beliefs, based on time tested truth. (Oil, gas and the Constitution is the new Faith, Hope and Charity) It’s really quite a simple solution if you consider what the problems are facing America, if we could just get back to that responsible development of natural resources, of letting our job creators do what they do best, and of getting back to those Judeo-Christian principles that our founding documents were crafted upon.
Those three relatively simple things to do would get America back on the right course. *slams head in the door*
And it’s an honor to get to be with you all today – for Todd (isn’t he supposed to be fishing about now?) and for me and for my friends to get to be with you all today in a place that gets it. You guys understand that work ethic, that patriotism, those wonderful things about America that maybe some others in the land, certainly in our national government, our federal government need to understand a bit more of – you can help ‘em share that message. Hopefully the film will help share that message, not about me but about the values of America that make us exceptional and that we continue to embrace those values and live ‘em out, America forever being THE light, the beacon of hope for other countries looking to see what is that they should emulate to ultimately create a more prosperous, healthy and peaceful world. America can be that light again, an exceptional exceptional place, and it’s people like you who can do it.
So thank you so much for being here tonight. God bless you.
At this point I’m just hugging myself and rocking. Sarah Palin has become her own sock puppet. Pass the croutons....

I'm amazed that some leftist actually thought enough about the speech to transcribe it word for word. I never would have spent the time doing that.

I thought she was irrelevent.

It may not even been a prepared speech....

Intresting. not. Sorry. All fluff, no substance from the girl.

Nice outing for Sarah!

Is this something like voting multiple times for a dancing with the stars contestant or using your coworkers computers to vote for yourself on a website while they are at lunch?

I think I've heard of such tactics before.

WOW, there really are some sad people in this world. I cannot imagine why they would spend so much time posting such dribble about a person they don't even know...a person who hasn't done anything to them...so sad and pathetic that I almost feel sorry for them.

Bosman, these comments are one of the reasons I do not frequent the site as much as I used to. I'm sure I'm not missed but these comments are not a good reflection on you or your site...unless you don't mind baseless lies being spewed on your site as fact?

Ohio JOE said...

Jersey, with respect, we cannot blame Bosman per se for these nutjobs. In the end, it is better to have unsavory characters comment than to have people banned like Pollman did business.

OJ, I never suggested anyone be banned. I am just explaining why there are less and less comments at his site. I have no intention or the inclination to suggest what Bosman does with his site...but allowing unsavory comments and baseless lies to be spewed on your site without even the smallest of warnings does speak of the integrity of the site. It's like the old saying...when you sleep with dogs, you get fleas.

Well, you have a point in that case Jersey.

JR,

The anons are cowardly ASSHOLES!

I'm not a Palin fan, but I respect her right to conduct her life as she sees fits.

At ROS, people would refer to me as the main anti-Palin blogger. I would do my best to back up my claims against those who would say that I was the CERTIFIABLE one. But AT LEAST, I signed everything so those who disagreed with me new who to focus their responses on.

IT'S COWARDLY, to post anonymously when you're criticizing something and making accusations without backing them up with links.

That's why I have always LAUGHED at anonymous comments on my threads and looked upon them as STATIC, written by COWARDS without any aggies or real convictions.

OJ, thanks,

I promised myself that no one would be banned or comments deleted from this site when I put it up, as long as they didn't cross the line by attacking a candidate's family.

Everyone knows that when ANONS MAKE CLAIMS, that 99.9% of it is BULL SHIT! I guess I have a higher tolerance level than most.

BOSMAN said...

Anons,

If you want to make a claim as a fact, BACK-IT up with a link.

If you have something negative to say about a candidates PAC and make accusations, BACK IT UP WITH A LINK.

BTW, you may try GROWING A PAIR and signing in as well!

So we'll all know who to focus our love on.

Noelle said...

Regarding anonymous posters, cowardly or not, it is also annoying because too many people can be "anonymous," and therefore I can't keep track of who is who.

In a sense, most of us are anonymous here. My real first name is Noelle, but I'm pretty sure Right Wingnut is not his/her real name, Bosman is not his real name, etc. But at least I know Bosman and RW, their views, their history here, etc.

I personally wish people would identify themselves, even if the name is just a nickname for the purpose of keeping track of people.

Just my $.02 worth.

Unless some comments were removed, I don't see the big deal. A couple of mild comments against Palin? Sheesh.

She has been known to fluff up support with anon emails and letters, etc. Didn't she have her staff do it for her? I thought I read that. And wasn't there something about a Facebook account she set up in order to give herself more likes or some such nonsense--then denied it? Ha ha.

Joe Miller was guilty of the same sort of thing, they're 2 peas in a pod.

Get a grip. These comments are nothing compared to what we see everywhere else. You Palin fans have the same thin skin as your gal.

MARTHA

Anonymous said...

Actually Martha, there is no, ABSOLUTELY ZERO EVIDENCE that Palin did any of those things. The problem with these "facts" is that there is no evidence to back them up, except for the heresay from that Frank Bailey guy, who is the only person in the Palin Administration that is under Federal Investigation.

So, I ask you, should I believe the lack of evidence or Frank Bailey's word...hmm? I wonder...

Right Wingnut said...

Bos, the anons aren't here to add anything meaningful to the discussion. There here to disrupt. That's what trolls do. Martha does that to a certain extent, because no matter the topic, she turns it in to a discussion about Palin. That's why Kavon called her a troll. Anyway, this discussion isn't really about Martha unless she's the one dumping the shit all over the place. In fairness, I know you're limited on Google blogger. C4P didn't have the ability to ban people until they switched to the new platform. Deleting comments is likely your only option. I get that.

Anonymous said...

Bosman, I appreciate that strong condemnation. I would imagine there are only a few anonymous posters, from a few different IP addresses that make up the bulk of the nasty, lies that are spread about Palin on this site. My guess is that they are leftovers from the Malia Litman blog that inundated this site a few months ago...or Ellie is using different means of communicating with this site...she probably has a wireless card, and a blackberry, she probably even ventures to the library to get her bashing Palin fix...

RW, at least Martha seems to be an actual Romney supporter...she knows his record and discusses his actions. Ellie cheerleads him but rarely speaks out about his record, except to say he is great. My guess is that Ellie is a liberal and she is a paid troll. I remember back in 2008 there were news reports that bloggers were being paid to disrupt conservative/Republican blogs...I think she is one of those paid bloggers. A few months back I was at HuffPo, just looking at the replies and a person named Ellie swore their allegiance to the Dems and Obama, she uttered the same exact nonsense about Palin, in the same exact writing style. I wish I had the idea to get a screen grab.

"Joe Miller was guilty of the same sort of thing," And what jury convicted him.

Ohio JOE said...

Jersey, I do not agree with Bosman's politics, but in fairness to him, I doubt he has time to check the IP addresses of all the various anon poster. Many of these characters are liberal trolls, but at again, at least they have freedom of speech. More freedom of speech than you and I have on liberal blogs and more freedom than we would have outside the United States.

In many countries you are allowed to write letters to the editor, but much of what is said on radio and blogs is cencored. I do not like all the trash I see in America, but at the end of the day, I am glad that I now live in a country where people can say what they want (for the most part) even if is stupid.

That is what I also admire about Bosman. I do not have to agree with what he says, but at the end of the day people can say what we what.

Right Wingnut said...

JR and OJ,

I confess that I've researched the matter of banning and IP addresses on Google Blogger. The IP does not show up on the comment. It does show up on the traffic report however. The problem is, you have to try to match an offending comment with a time stamp on the traffic report. If multiple IPs visit a thread at around the same time, there's no way to know for sure who left the comment in question. Over time, you could probably figure it out but even then, there is no foolproof solution. Even if you ban an IP from your blog, all they have to do is get different IP, use a mobile device, or use a proxy server.

The cbox is a different story. IP addresses are listed with every comment.

As to freedom of speech....it doesn't apply to private clubs or blogs. If their only goal is to disrupt, I say nuke them. Patrick Ruffini started a blog called nextright a while back. He decided to have a no ban policy. The site was very popular and showed promise until the liberal troll infestation. It's now a ghost town.

ROS did it the wrong way too...so does Red State. A mod should not arbitrarily ban people just because they disagree with a particular commenter's views.

There's got to be a happy medium.

@ Jersey….May I quote you? The problem with these "facts" is that there is no evidence to back them up, except for the heresay. “I remember back in 2008 there were news reports that bloggers were being paid to disrupt conservative/Republican blogs.” That’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard you say, of course as you say…it’s just hearsay.
I have read through all the anon comments and don’t really find any of them to be offensive. Her latest word salad speech was transcribed verbatim, and it was pretty horrible. Many, many people have reported about Sarah writing her own letters to the editor and having others sign them. This is not new news.
Palin and her base has very thin skin and live in a state of denial. I just read that the latest viewing of the Undefeated has a dismal attendance…less than 50. I guess all the hype from C4P didn’t get the tickets sold. Link is provided. http://blogs.houstonpress.com/hairballs/2011/07/sarah_palin_undefeated.php

Jersey, I've known Ellie for a long time online now--since 07. We 'met]' at townhall and fought the anti-Mormon nonsense together. You are wrong about her, she is a strong Romney supporter.

Yes, she did have a personal Facebook account, and used to to 'like' herself on the public page. It was proven, yet she lied about it. Shortly after the kerfuffle, the page disappeared. I'll try to find the link for that story.

I really think you guys should not get your shorts in a bunch so much about a few comments that are clearly from liberal trolls. It's not Ellie. Just skip them, and don't give them more fodder.

That word you keep using...
There was an advance screening last night of The Undefeated, the new film by Stephen K. Bannon that traces the rise of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin from her early years as mayor of Wasilla to John McCain's 2008 Vice-Presidential candidate to her new status as Tea Party darling.
The event was sparsely attended (I'd charitably put the audience at 50 people).

dd,

At least the Sarah Palin fans here are not delusional. Jersey, OJ, RW are not in the same category of most Palin fans, and I have to give them a lot of credit for it.

The people from other sites like AmericanThinker, HotAir, and tele and TEX and others from Race42012 are just living in an alternate universe where Sarah Pain is some kind of super-hero who is going to fly in and perform a miracle, kick Obama's butt, etc. It just doesn't get any more delusional than that. They just don't have any room for the truth in their protected world.

I agree...at least Jersay, OH and RW will listen to our opinions with a somewhat open mind. I don't even go to the groups you mentioned unless I'm bored and need a good laugh. I have a feeling there will be a lot of very disappointed C4P people when Sarah admits she's not running. They might want they're money back from SarahPAC.
