Rudy Giuliani: Is He or Isn't He?

Rudy Giuliani spoke at the Republican Lawyers Association 12th Annual National Policy Conference on Friday.

Giuliani took one question from the audiance. Has he decided on a 2012 run yet.
“not yet,” but that it’s a possibility.
“I will sure think about it. … It’s too early and I want to see how it all develops,” he answered. “My major goal is to elect a Republican in 2012. If it turns out that I’m the best one to do that, I can probably be talked into doing it or convince myself to do it,” he said.
“If I thought somebody else had a better chance of doing it, I would be a very enthusiastic supporter of somebody else,” he added.

Is.

He'll run if Palin does, in order to peel votes from Romney. He wants to be her running mate. I'm in favor of that strategy.

Not.

I thought Palin could win this all by herself? Now she needs help?

Ah...where are those heady days when that Mama Grizzly video was released.....

RW, I've never bought into that theory, and I don't think there's any evidence for it, other than they went to a baseball game together and seemed to have a good time.

Rudy would not play second fiddle to Palin, nor should he. Of the two, he's infinitely more qualified.

He must be delusional or masochistic to want to self-inflict that embarrassment of 2008 again.

Martha,

While he says he’ll consider another presidential bid, ex-mayor Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 campaign committee still reported itself $2.7 million in debt just a few weeks ago. He’s said a Sarah Palin candidacy might make him more likely to jump in, but some who have known him for a long time believe Giuliani could be her running mate for vice president, for a “balanced” ticket….

I think he would ABSOLUTELY play second fiddle.

A couple thoughts....

I can't think of anyone in the GOP that has been a bigger defender of Palin over the past 2.5 years.

And, why would he be MORE LIKELY to run with Palin in the race?

Do the math.
