Mitt Romney serves up Obama at Arlington, Texas Restaurant

Mitt Romney laid into more than a Pork sandwich at Rudy's BBQ in Arlington, Texas yesterday. The Sandwich was the first course, He had President Obama for desert.
Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney dropped in at a barbecue restaurant Thursday, taking jabs at President Barack Obama for his economic and healthcare policies and newly espoused stance on a Palestinian state.
Romney also heaped praise on Gov. Rick Perry, whom commentator Rush Limbaugh has been advancing as a candidate for president in 2012.
"He's done a heck of a job," Romney said of Perry, citing the state's business-friendly environment. "The rest of the country could learn a lot of lessons from Gov. Perry."
Romney drew an enthusiastic midafternoon crowd at Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q off Interstate 20 in Arlington, after local Republican groups publicized the appearance over the weekend. Bosman, as you well know, Perry had harsh word for RomneyCare, and said Romney needed to repudiate it.

I find it very interesting that time and again, Romney takes the high road with everyone who is critical of him.

What a great speech. I am a big fan of Romney, but I try to not set my expectations unreasonably high. I've got to say, though, he is a great man, and I believe he can be a great president.

Anon 12:39, I noticed that too. Romney is a gentleman. I wish I were as gracious as he is.

Noelle, that was me, just forgot to sign.

You're always gracious, Noelle! I'm the one who needs to follow Romney's example.

Texas is a good place for Romney to make friends! I believe Texas is also getting more electoral votes this time around. I hope they all go to elect Mitt Romney for President!

Too bad that Romney wasn't at Julio's. If you ever go to Arlington, you need to go there. I have family members in Texas, and Julio's is an absolute must for anyone who visits Arlington. Maybe Romney will go to Julio's next time!
