Intrade reacts as Santorum and Huntsman take the next step.

Rick Santorum:
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum announced Tuesday the formation of an exploratory committee to run for the GOP nomination for president in 2012...
....."I am pleased that we have taken this important next step in the process to potentially become a candidate for President of the United States," Santorum said in a statement.
The full story is HERE.

Jon Huntsman:
Former U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman took his first tangible step toward exploring a run for president by setting up a federal political action committee on Tuesday.
Tim Miller, a spokesman for the new committee, called "H PAC," tells ABC News that the move is “an organizational step that will allow him to travel the country, discuss issues that are important to him, and support Republican candidates.”
The full story is HERE.

I found it interesting how INTRADE reacted to this news:

Little change in Rick Santorum who is hovering around the 0.5% chance.

While Jon Huntsmann went from 5.1% chance last week to 18.6% chance today which is second to Romney at 23.8%.

I find Huntsman's upward movement a little strange. Perhaps people have money to burn.

FWIW, Huntsman is now back to 7.2. But TPaw has jumped to 19.4. Again, too many people with money to burn.
