"Governor Romney’s speech yesterday was just the type of tone we need," Christie said in a statement. "While folks may not agree with what he said, that type of candor is what Americans expect from a serious presidential candidate today.”

I agree wholeheartedly with Chris Christie. The candidates need to back off the sound bite approach to campaigning and share their message and the details of their plans.

Pretty unique to comment on Romney's statesmanlike demeanor. I think that is one of his best qualities. Christie liked that Romney doesn't throw smears and personal attacks around like Trump.

And I am amazed that no pundits really looked at Romney's PPT slide about the differences in Obamacare and what Romney would do as president. That should be the focus but it was completely ignored.

Glad Christie was a gentleman and resisted piling on. What would it have accomplished except annoying all the Romney supporters from ever supporting him.

Romney helped Christie when no one would touch him with a 10 foot poll.

Christie seems the loyal type. He'll back Romney EVEN if Daniels runs.
