C4Palin: Home of the Insane

Here are two stories today at C4Palin. They are separated by a matter of inches on the home page:

This:
I’ll close by noting that the miserable crap weasle who betrayed Mansour’s trust bears plenty of responsibility here, but the lion’s share of the blame rests with Tucker Carlson, who purportedly runs the Daily Caller.  Who among us doesn’t have our unguarded moments in private when we’re among friends, or those we think are our friends?  This is basic human nature.  I hate to think that some things I’ve uttered or written in confidence would ever be brought to the attention of the parties about whom I spoke.  By publishing private comments that obviously fall into this category, the Daily Caller has stooped lower than the aformentioned crap weasle.
The story next to the preceding one.
Has there ever been such a display of simultaneous cowardice and sexism than that demonstrated by “anonymous” Romney staffers who continue to trash Gov. Palin (and other female conservatives) while their boss praises Palin publicly? Certainly we at C4P pull no punches when discussing Romney’s less-than-stellar record, but all our comments and identities are a matter of record. We are a fan blog, not a campaign staff. Moreover, we’re not making junior-high-level comments to political magazines about Mitt’s IQ or mental health status then hiding out as “unnamed sources.”
When it's Romney's staffers, then it is Romney's fault. When it is Palin's staffers, it is the media's fault. But that is what we have come to expect from Palin and her insane base. Blaming the media is Sarah Palin's politics. That's what she does. It is not surprising that the politician with the thinnest skin would have a cult following with thin skin.

I really hope that the reports of Palin's new movie aren't true -- that it is going to continue her whining about the media. But I have a feeling that Palin won't disappoint. She simply can't rise above the fray. She has her base convinced that her self-destruction is Katie Couric's fault. By blaming all of her limitations on the media, she has a convenient excuse to only do interviews with that hard-hitting Judge Jeneane.

While I really hope that Palin runs (she will lose badly), C4Palin is a living example of the kind of campaign we are going to see from Palin. Any attack or any criticism of her will only be because the one who levied it is a sexist, establishment RINO. She will try her best to freeze the debate.

I feel quite confident that it won't work.

Palin wont run. Shes going to do what huckabee did in stringing her supporters along and giving them all hope and indication that she will run but in the end....she wont run

Is Mansour going to get dumped? Ha ha. Hell hath no fury like Palin retribution.

I'm with you on the home for the insane, Pablo.
I also have to say that a 2 hour Palin movie really takes the cake.

Palin can't dump Mansour....she has too much inside information....especially the juicy details about the dysfunctional family.

I have to agree...the self absorbed, "It's all about me" movie will turn people off, even some of her base will finally realize what a self promoting, self absorbed nut case she is.

Anonymous said...

Right, I too believe Mansour knows a little too much. What to do, what to do . . .

This just gets better and better. Please run, Sarah.

I truly hope that Palin does not run. Regardless of your opinion of her, I have no doubt that if she runs she will be harassed by the media, and they won't stop at her, they'll go after her children too. Those children do not deserve the kind of treatment they have gotten, and will get even more of if Sarah enters the 2012 race.

I have made this request before, and I will make it again. Please, please, please, let us treat our political rivals and their supporters respectfully. If a rival makes a negative comment, I hope we can be the better person and not sink into the mud with them. We are a good nation, but in the political season, we don't demonstrate that very well sometimes.

I find it interesting that my comments would hurt this website when what I says resonates with 75% of the country. Look at the polling, my friend. Palin is toxic.

And it is also a testament to the strength of this site that you and I might be able to coexist. This is a battle that is going to happen. My side of the Republican Party versus your side. Might as well as bring it to light here at Right Speak.

Again, I welcome Palin into the race. I hope she runs. It will be a gift from heaven to Mitt Romney.

Noelle said...

Pablo, I have no problem with not being a fan of one candidate or another. To be honest, I have been disappointed in comments made by supporters of Palin as well as by supporters of Romney, although (and it may be bias, I don't know) I have found some Palin supporters to be even more hateful than I have found Romney supporters. That is a generalization, and members of both camps have been guilty.

I don't think Palin is a good candidate, but I do not agree that she herself is bad for the Republican Party. I want to welcome as wide a spectrum as possible into the party. She may not be a good representative of the GOP, but she is welcome as a member of the GOP, at least as far as I am concerned.

Anonymous said...

No offense Noelle, but I agree with Pablo. Palin is bad for the party. All Palin will do is divide the party and give the election to Obama on a silver platter. Her cult at C4Palin, for the most part, appear to be mentally ill. It's almost embarrassing to read their ridiculous threads and comments.

In regards to her kids...she's the one who constantly pushes them into the arena, usually as she uses them as her personal shield. Doesn't anyone else notice that none of the other candidates use their kids? She uses them and then whines when they take the brunt of her sickness. Most of her problems are her own fault.

Noelle said...

I don't frequent C4P, so I cannot speak with any authority on that topic. I can tell by RW's response that my request was and will continue to be pointless.

Even if Palin is at fault for using her kids, her kids don't deserve the kind of treatment they have received, and are not ready for the national spotlight. For her children's benefit, I hope Palin stays out of the race.

Noelle said...

And I'm not offended. :)

Pablo,

If it wasn't for the "stupid" Palin supporters you always talk down to.....nobody would even read your posts. You usually only average about 0-1 comments per post. Really changing the world there, General.

As for C4P...who cares. It is a Palin Fan Site. For the life of me...I don't know why non-Palin supporters would even give them a second thought. What do you thin skinned little Rombots expect them to do...get on their knees and kiss Romney's back side.

I can kinda understand why RW gets so upset sometimes. The Palin supporters are constantly belittled and talked down to by the all knowing and genius Rombots, the lame ass Anon Trig Truthers and liberals who pretend to like Romney.

Lets be honest...if it wasn't for the Palin supporters, none of these posts would get many comments. We drive most of the conversation on this site. Without us around it would be nothing but a dull Romney love fest....that is, until the Liberal Trig Truthers started attacking Romney.

Maybe the Palin supporters should take a little vacation and see how you Rombots do without us. At least General Pablo can have his little GOP Purge that he has been dreaming about for awhile. Just a thought.

I agree with Pablo that Palin is bad for the party. As you all know, this has been my opinion since about 2 weeks after she was chosen for VP. Whether she runs or not, she is going to hurt us in the general.

Being associated with Palin is a two-edged sword. On the one hand, we all have to play nice with her due to her ultra-sensitive fan base. On the other hand, she is a severe liability for the GOP as far as indies and moderates go.

It's going to be like walking a tightrope for the nominee.

Having said all that, I want her to run so that her deficits will be clear, and no more excuses.

Martha

Anonymous said...

As I read through all these comments I have come to the conclusion that Palin's base is just as divisive and hateful as she, and that RightWing has mastered the "I'm the victim" meme.

OhioJOE said...

"I've offered OJ." Well if that is truly the case, it is a nice gesture, but I am not in the business of writting FPs. While, I do like to comment, my English is not articulate enough to be on FP. There are other Palinites who could do better. Further, it would be nice to get people to post article who are niether in the Romney or Palin camps.

To your credit Bosman, you and a few of your freinds post a few things about Mr. Pawlenty and others, but with Mr. Huckabee, Mr. Trump and Mr. Daniels gone, it would be interesting to hear about other candidates as well sometimes.

Anonymous said...

WOW, how did I miss this one? Honestly, this is getting out of hand. You know, Palin the Palin supporters on this site (you know...all of the traffic) could care less about what you guys think about C4P...it's about the comments you make about Palin and her supporters.

Whenever I read one of Pablo's hit pieces on Palin...I realize that he is seriously one of the most uninformed people when it comes to Palin...I mean Martha despises the woman but she knows ten times more about Palin than Pablo does...sure most of what she knows is wrong too but she also knows that. For your information...the Palin documentary is not, primarily, about her post-Governorship...supposedly the bulk of the film is about her stellar record in Alaska. I think the real question that should be asked of Bosman is why he allows people to write blogs when they have no interest or understanding about Palin? Maybe Pablo should stick to the cultural underpinnings of the drug trade and its effect on 3rd World countries and leave primary politics to us grown ups?

Also, BTW, if Palin enters the race...she wins the nomination...I can already smell the fear...

Stellar record....that's a joke, right? Sarah has a record of being divisive, hateful, petty and MIA during her entire Alaskan reign of terror.

“Palin’s Phantom Pipeline Stole $500 Million from Taxpayers… , Palin made this claim : “we’re building a nearly $40 billion natural gas pipeline — which is North America’s largest and most expensive infrastructure project ever — to flow those sources of energy into hungry markets.”
And here’s where our story of grift, graft and greed begins.
During the campaign, The New York Times reported that the reality of the project was “far more ambiguous than the impression Ms. Palin has left at the convention and on the campaign trail.” This is because the contract to build a 1,715-mile pipeline to bring natural gas from Alaska to the Lower 48 existed only on paper. There is no pipeline. There never was.
Not only has the pipeline not been built, but as Palin’s signifying “accomplishment” during her brief time as Governor was written — the bill Palin championed to such an extent it was often referred to as the Palin Pipeline — left the state vulnerable to losing over 500 million dollars. Or should I say, it left us vulnerable to paying over 500 million dollars because Palin thought that the US Federal Government should shoulder all the financial risks of AGIA while writing a contract that guarantees profit for the private corporation (or Alaska will pay damages). Sort of like those bail outs Palin’s followers so object to, wherein we taxpayers subsidize the risk and the private company gets to take the profit. Palin’s signature achievement was to shell out 500 million dollars of our money for a bad idea, conceived mostly out of arrogance and widely criticized at the time as being wildly flawed.”

Her accomplishments are minimal.

Anonymous said...

Anon, they already have bids for the project to be built.

Congratulations, you just spent an inordinate amount of time saying a lot BUT proving nothing.

About the half a billion...good thing Palin left Alaska with 11 and a half more in the coffers.

Regarding the project, the fact remains...Sarah is an epic failure. Good thing she quit, otherwise they wouldn't even be getting bids.

If you feel information posted is wrong or misleading on a thread, THE COMMENT area is the place to state your case.

BTW, Like Pablo, Palin supporters are given the same opportunity as Romney supporters to state their case.

It is only limited by ONES LACK OF INTEREST IN DOING SO!

Anonymous said...

Bosman, with all due respect...writing on this site is a futile effort. The trolls, led by Ellie, will dominate the post. Half of the Romney supporters won't pay attention because they have no interest in performing due diligence when it comes to Palin...and quite frankly, other than the Palin supporters...this site doesn't get enough traffic to make it worth my time.

Don't get me wrong I like this site but I like to have discussions and this site, unfortunately, has turned into the C4P for Rombots minus the hundreds of comments.

Maybe because it's a blogger site, so the layout is just not conducive to a high visitor environment or maybe there is just too much pro-Romney, con-everyoneelsewhoisnotRomney for people to feel like it's a friendly environment for discourse?

Jersey, that was funny. I disagree, though. Pablo is not uninformed at all, he just dares to say the truth about Palin. There's no great mystery surrounding Palin, we all have been able to see her clearly now for quite some time.

When Palin supporters don't like what is said about her, they either call us liars, uninformed, hateful, etc. Try refuting what is said with some facts, or opinions! I'm sorry you feel it a waste of your time to defend her.

Martha, thanks for the reply. I do not feel it a waste of time to defend her...I feel it a waste of time to write FPPs, for this site, with the vitriol that comes from the upper echelon all the way down to the dredge of the Litman cretins.

On numerous occasions, Pablo has told me hasn't watched this speech or that interview. Not once has he mentioned her Alaskan record. He has provided no evidence that he has done any due diligence about Palin's record, other than scour C4P for scathing comments. His anti-Palin posts are based on either MSM false, less than accurate, accounts or C4P's fanfare.

His opinion of her is rooted in his hatred of his own party!!!

BTW, on more than one occasion I have rendered you silent when I give you the facts...but I guess you are too busy reading the Bailey book than to do honest research. I understand you are not a fan but the facts are the facts...she accomplished great things as Governor of Alaska and her 80% plus approval ratings were just another representation of that!!!

"I will say though that there are far more NON-ROMNEY posts here than there are NON-PALIN over at C4P. Some your comparison, is a little out there." True, now how many non-Romney posts are at MRC?

Anonymous said...

Jersey, I don't remember any time when you rendered me silent! (For that matter, has anyone ever done so? Ha ha.)

But let's face it, Palin doesn't have much of a record. She has AGIA and ACES. Both are on the ropes. Yes, she cut some spending, and stopped chasing after so many earmarks. But ACES hurts, and theres no way around that.

You guys always claim is that the negative things people say about Palin are based on media lies. That hasn't been the case for 3 years. Palin is 100% unfiltered. Pablo is no dummy, and does due diligence. If you've seen one Palin speech, you've seen them all. It's like that with most candidates, anyway. I know I wish Romney had some new material.

I think Palin has learned more on the issues, but not enough to make any difference at this point. She just doesn't have the depth, and probably never will.

The history of Sarah is to run on persona, and that is exactly what she will do if she runs again. The movie is great evidence of that. If she gets in, she'll have some great one-liners in the debates that will grab all the attention. I'm worried about that, because I don't think she even intends to wow us with in-depth knowledge of the issues.

And BTW, I'm not reading the Bailey book! Ha ha. I think anything to glean from that is already out there. He's said many of the things we already knew.

Palin's 80% approval came from ACES--more money for Alaskans, and from making it appear that she cleaned up politics in Alaska. I see precious little evidence of that, though. It was the FBI that started the investigations, Palin had nothing to do with all those guys going to jail--as her supporters repeatedly claim.

"You guys spend most of your time in the chat box!" And????

However, I must say that this site is better than race in terms of contest. At least Palinites are allowed to speak here. Further more, with the exception of the Generalismo and a few others, the anti-Palinites around here spew anti-Palin non-sense to either get a rise or to make their own candidate look good. At Race they actually believe the non-sense they write.

One unfortunately thing on this site, is that one has to type in a criptic bunch of letter everytime one posts a comment. Further, this site seems to take up more computer memory, but all in all in it a great site.

However, I think there are a couple reasons why I find race42012 to be easier to use and more inviting.

The links to recent articles are on the top of the page, which makes it easier to navigate between them all.

And most importantly, it is very difficult to comment here for me. For one, I have to click "post comment" three times for my comment to even show up. And in order to get it to show up, I have to type the letters in the box every time. It is painful. Perhaps you can fix it.

"NaH! You're right. Just let the thought die in the comment box!" Well, I have already have a post written (on a different topic) and I might actually try to post it within the next 24 hours.

Yes Sam, RW and I do not let the non-sense of the other side go unchallenged.

" I'm glad the site is growing, but it's hard to get Palin supporters to stick around when Pablo calls them insane and bad for the party."

RW, I would not worry about the Generalisimo; we know that he is the one bad for the party. He is at War with the base and that is not likely to change. Is is what it is.

On another note, it appear that one has to be a blogger on google to post something.

Wow! The pot has been stirred.

A few responses as I just read through all of those comments.

JR,

It is debatable about whether I am "misinformed" and perhaps I ought to stick to "the cultural ramifications of the drug trade in Latin America" but I do want to point out something: I would be perfectly content if Sarah Palin would run on her record in Alaska (pre-quitting). But she hasn't. Instead she relies on identity politics and hammering the media. That is significantly different then how she was in Alaska.

Sarah Palin was an effective governor of Alaska for about two years. She needs to go back to her roots, instead of her current act.

Bosman,

I think that we ought to have a post where we discuss how to improve Right Speak. I have a few suggestions as well.

"108 Illegal aliens found in a drop house near Phoenix Today, May include some Human smugglers among them," was the headline of the 10:00 a.m. news today here in Arizona. Headlines like this are heard at least weekly. We lose police officers to illegals every couple of months. Pablo isn't exactly on my side of the GOP, either, we just happen to lean toward the same candidate.

I agree that Pablo gets pretty condescending in his posts, but I really don't appreciate the bad language you seem to think necessary to express your feelings. I don't come on political sites to read the F word. If I really wanted to hear that, I could just go over to my kids' high school. I hope that adults can communicate more forcefully without it. There's my lecture on bad language. Don't you love it? :)

Anyway, I don't frequent C4P at all. I do want to point out that the last time I remember a kerfuffle (notice I used a good vocabulary word :) about Romney's campaign staffers, they were anonymous as well, but quoted by Mark Halperin who is a notorious leftie. I would like to remind the Palin people that "anonymous campaign staff" really could be anyone. I am sure you may not like what they were quoted to have said, but don't you think it's a little ridiculous to get so angry at the candidate when you really don't even know what the person's connection to them is? I promise to try to give your candidate the same benefit of the doubt!

OJ,

I thought long and hard about being nice. I am sure that if we all knew each other in real life that we would be great friends. I have nothing against you or any other Palin supporter. I have a life myself outside of the few moments a day when I write about politics.

But if we are going to debate politics then I have determined that I am going to be honest. I am anti-Palin because I do believe that she would be bad for the conservative movement. If you disagree, then state your case. But don't get offended if I have a different opinion. I want governance-minded Republicans in office. Palin may have been a governance-minded Republican when she was governor of Alaska, but she has long ago abandoned such thinking.

If Palin runs (i hope she does), then this debate is only going to get stronger.

WELCOME OJ,

Looking forward to your Posts!

Well Pablo, you might very well be a good person in real life, but that really is not the issue. But, to be honest, I do not care for your poltics. Speaking of honesty, while I do not care for your politics, I do recognize that you are an honest person. At least we know where we stand with you.
