True Hollywood Story subject: Sarah Palin?

Documentarian and political activist John Ziegler produced the definitive film on media bias in the 2008 presidential election, Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted. We may soon see significant portions of John’s film repurposed for another look at Sarah Palin both then and now in a television program in two weeks. John tells me exclusively that E! Entertainment Channel has licensed his film for an upcoming “True Hollywood Story” look at Palin — and that Palin supporters may well be pleasantly surprised by the results.
According to John, E! will announce as early as today that the program will air on April 20th. John also took the time to answer a few questions from me via e-mail:
There we several questions asked in the interview. To view the rest of the questions and answers, you will need to read the full Hot Air article and interview HERE.

I decided to cut to the chase:
Q: If Palin wants to run for President, she will have to address the narrative that the mainstream media have built over the last three years. Is this an opportunity to do that?
A: Assuming the show is as fair as I think it will be, it certainly could be. This show will be shown numerous times on a network whose demographic is full of women who are not political junkies. This is exactly the demo that Palin would have to get a second chance with if she has a chance to beat President Obama.
Obviously she and I have both been burned before by media outlets, but I have my fingers crossed on this.
Below is a trailer for, "Media Malpractice... How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted" produced by John Ziegler:

Of course there is another possibility, That E Entertainment will edit all this into a major hit piece on Palin.

It just seems a little strange one way or another that this is coming out during a period when many individuals are determining whether they will run for President in 2012.

Bosman, As a side note, Ziegler is an misogynist idiot. He's getting a lot more attention than he ever deserved. To her credit, I believe Palin has distanced herself from him. He is an embarrassment, to say the least.

But yes, I also have a hard time believing they will make Palin look good--unless it is an attempt to draw her into running. But I doubt that as well.

Whoa.....Martha gave credit for something to Palin? That may be a first.

I appreciate that Zeigler has highlighted the tremendous role the media played in Obama's election, but I have never completely trusted him.

Palin's life is an open book and a soap opera.

What better place than to view a documentary on her than the Entertainment Channel as opposed to the History Channel.

I to have concerns about the timing of this.

Depending on how E puts the show together, it could be either an opportunity for Palin to start a campaign on a positive note or a kiss of death if she was considering a run.

Whoever tried to make it look Ed Morrisey posted that is very clever. However, he would not make such a pronouncement. Very funny though.

How can the E channel have anything good to say about Palin? There is absolutely nothing positive about her. She remains, an embarrassment to America.

I have to agree with Manny up there. Palin is a celebrity with no off button. There's not much else to learn about her as she has thoroughly exposed herself over and over.

The idea that a campaign will change anything, or that the MSM has anything to do with the perception of her is long gone. She is 100% unfiltered now and has been for 2 years. Everything we know about her, she told us herself. 2 books, Facebook, Twitter, and FOX.

RW - Do you know much about Zeigler? IMO, a real creeper. He has the hots for Palin while at the same time leaching off her for his 15 minutes of fame. Anyone who takes him seriously has no clue.

Just google his turn on a reality dating show and watch it. It's pretty much all one needs to know.

Did anyone else notice that Palin removed her Star of David the minute she left Israel? She's also quite the phony who thinks she can fool us.

I would be leery of this if I was Palin or her supporters.

My guess is they will take a she is a "celebrity" approach.

This could be a double edge sword while showing her as being popular yet perhaps not serious Presidential material.
