and, your point Rightwingnut?
Anon, the point is that you obviously don't have an answer to my question. Were this his sincere views, or was he pandering to the left?
im a romney supporter and ill say he was pandering to the left.
HaHaHaHa!
Still dwelling on the past?
Me to!
What do you think RWN? Should I post it?
Bos, I don't care if you post that, because it laughable. Nobody really took that seriously before, and it's unlikely that they will in the future.
Now back to my question. Do you think those were his sincere views at the time, or was he selling out his TRUE CONVICTIONS to Planned Parenthood to get votes?
I'm also disturbed by #7. Why did he feel it necessary for the federal government to enact legislation to protect abortion clinics from protesters. Isn't that an issue for local law enforcement to address? Or, maybe it's a state issue, but it's NOT a federal issue. It's hard to take his states rights arguments seriously when I see stuff like this.
No, I believe that Romney was pandering. You are right RW. I do not believe that Romney is perfect. In fact, far from it. There are numerous things that I disagree with him on. I am a little sympathetic with Romney on his previous abortion positions because he was trying to be the governor of MA, not South Carolina. Anyway, it definitely was blatant pandering.
Post, Mr. Bosman. Post.
Why didn't you include questions and answers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8? Because they didn't support the view of Mr. Romney as pro-abortion that you want to portray?
Virginia, those questions weren't relevent to my post, and to be honest, I didn't want to type it all. I was nice enough to provide a link to the information, and to number the questions to make it obvious that there were more.
Waiting to see something fresh or relevant in your fruitless pursuit of Romney.

To answer your question RWN, I don't know, only Romney does.
What I will look for is evidence after he had a change of heart, that backs up that stance.
My guess is that most people accept him at his word on this. Most polls seem to indirectly back that up.
Martha, since it's a brand new campaign, eveything is fresh and relevent again.
Bosman,
That's where we disagree. I don't believe it was a "change of heart." I believe he did what he had to do to win in MA. Now, he's doing what he needs to do to compete in a Republican primary. Nobody really knows what he believes. I tend to think he was pro-life all along, but who knows.
How about something original?
As the resident Palinite, Why not post something about Why you like Palin and why supporters of others should like her over their candidate(s)?
I can't recall 1 post on this site that discussed Palin's views on any particular topic.
Anon. Because she has no views on much. Just bumpersticker slogans and pre arranged questions from Fox. She'd take on water in a debate of any substance.
So if Mitt is pandering to the left then he is a liar.
The man has zero ethical standards, says what the group he is talking to at the time wants to hear.
Mitt is a stink'n liberal. He needs to just go the hell away.
Pandering. And if it gets Barry out of the WH, have at it in the future, Mitt!

Cindy, I can see your 12 o'clock shadow from here. Lay off the bubba juice and calm down.
Both Sarah and Mitt are Panderers.
The difference is, he's the INTELLIGENT ONE.
I guess I don't see the problem with questioning a candidate's past views/stances and present ones to try to understand them better to get a sense of what they'd do in office and, therefore, whether one could support said candidate or not.
If we can't or won't accept a person's conversion from being pro-choice to pro-life, why do we even bother trying to get people to become pro-life. When they do it is just pandering?
Romney's previous public position on abortion was my biggest roadblock on being a supporter in 2008, but after reading and listening to how he came to be pro-life, I believe him and I believe in him.
No candidate is perfect, but I still believe that Mitt Romney is the best person for the job at this time. His unique combination of success in the private sector as well as his public service prepares him better than anyone else out there to tackle the incredible challenge that is being the President of the United States.
I don't have a problem with Romney's answers. The fact of the matter is, when the rubber met the road and he actually had to sign something that advanced experimentation on early stages of life, he found his personal life and public stance at odds and his personal life won out.
I don't think it has anything to so with pandering either. To his detriment, I think Mitt Romney is a law and order guy. Meaning that even though he personally may not agree with a law, he will still abide by the law unless he can oppose it through legal means. You can see that in the way he fought against gay marriage in Massachusetts. He found legal means to curtail the number of gay marriages within the laws at his disposal.
I'm just glad he's not so quick to assume his lifestyle is the best lifestyle and wants to force it on everyone else.
I don't have a problem with discussing this questionnaire but it is dishonest to cut and paste the parts of the form that support your particular view. Either show the whole form or none of it. It is kind of like the "truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." If you can't do that then you are being dishonest.
So which is it RW are you being dishonest or do you think this is the "whole truth" about the form.
How is he being dishonest...he links to the original form? RW's post pertains to the answers of those specific questions. Each question and answer has its own, specific "whole truth."

Johan,
If I was trying to deceive you, I would not have numbered the questions to make it obvious that there were more. There isn't anything in the other questions that enhances my argument, or yours.
Interesting post! To be honest you cannot beat the services or the people that I have dealt with. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
I read this article, Mitt Romney's Planned Parenthood Questionnaire article very informative and interesting.Believe me i have never ever read this type of article, I refer your blog to many of my friends as well.
